Hello again everyone: I hope your Holidays were wonderful, with family and friends to make them even more special.
Well, here I am again posting a new card I made a couple of days ago. This card is from a fabulous Power Poppy stamp set called "Fresh Baked", this wonderful image is created by Marcella Howlley, one of the most amazing artists and designers around. I love pies and this one certainly looks good enough to eat. The card is simple, I didn't add a bow or ribbon or any kind of bling, I think this image stands perfectly fine on it's own.
The card stock is from Hobby Lobby, where I buy most of it, the DSP is from the Paper Studio, I colored this image using my Stampin Up! markers and my Aqua Painter. The colors I used are:
Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery, More Mustard, Bashful Blue and Basic Gray. I also added a bit of Crystal Effects to the cherry in the pie to make it shine a bit, after all, that is how it looks when it comes out of the oven.
I'm still getting used to this blog and using my brand new camera, this is a work in progress so I hope you enjoy visiting.
I also resumed my Triathlete life, this is something I need to release the stress of caring for my 91 year old mom. But most of all, it's because I miss training and racing so much.
I'm entertaining a little dream in my head, but before I let you guys know about it, I need to put all the pieces in place, I will know soon if I'm going to be able to take it to the next level.
So, I hope you like this card, feel free to suggest anything to improve it, from the DSP to the coloring, layout (which I struggle with all the time), etc.
Thank you for visiting and please, don't forget to feed my fishies.
