Corner Garden for PPA261.....

Hello again, everyone: Gosh!! it seems to me that I'm kind of in a roll making cards for challenges, I'm having a lot of fun, my friends, there are so many great challenges out there, with different sketches and color combinations and themes that I just can't help myself.
I like challenges because, besides being fun to have my cards out there for all of you to see, they provide me with the guide lines to create my cards.  Some really push me out of my comfort zone and others just give my mojo a sweet little kick to get me started.
This is the card I made for this week's Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge. I used the always pretty SU Corner Garden which is considered a background stamp.  So far,  I've only used it in parts, like in this card, but it can be use whole and it's gorgeous.
I used my SU write markers and the aqua painter to color this image, somehow, at least for me, I find it easier to color just parts of it, instead of the whole stamp. Here is a close up of this pretty blooms. The little butterfly was stamped with the Papillion Potpourri and punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch.
The DSP is from Lily of the Valley and the CS is from my stash. I hope you like this card, please leave me a comment, reading your thoughts on my cards gives me so much joy.
This is the sketch that inspired this card, I just used it upside down. Hope it's ok.07-23 PPA 261
Till next time, paper hugs to all.
Maria.

Paper: Canson water color paper, Lilly of the Valley DSP.
Inks:  Stazon Jet Black, SU write markers in Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, More Mustard, Garden Green, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink. The stems on the flowers were done with a gold pen.
Tools: SB circle dies, SU Bitty Butterfly punch, SB tags dies.

Well you've done Corner Garden justice by spotlighting some pretty flowers! these Challenges are definitely helping you try out new layouts, something we all need help with because I can tell you I seem to stick to just a few of favorites myself. I wouldn't have even thought of this one and it looks fabulous!

Yes Patti, participating in challenges really helps me with layouts and pushes me out of my comfort zone to try new things, I love it. Thank you for stopping by.

Thanks my friend, one of the great things about challenges is that you are free to interpret the theme or sketch your own way, as long as the main idea still there.

Thanks Mary, this set is so beautiful and versatile, I love all of the beautiful flowers in it.

Thank you Bonnie, the stamp itself is big and beautiful but, for this sketch, I thought I would just spotlight some of the pretty flowers.

Maria, you inspire me to step out of my comfort zone. This card is just beautiful and as always, I love your coloring. I keep thinking that I should just "do it" and enter a challenge, but I fear I'm never good enough. There's so much incredible talent out there. One day I will surprise myself though....maybe sooner than I realize. Wonderful card my friend...and you did it as only you do! Perfectly!
