Sparkling Wreath.....

Hello everyone: I have another card to share with you today but this time I'm linking it to the Addicted to CAS SPARKLE challenge and to the LiveLoveCards October challenge "White Space". Here is my card.
This is an old Flourishes stamp set called "A Wreath for all Seasons", it has 3 other images for Spring, Summer and Fall, very pretty, I stamped it onto Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink.
Since the Addicted to CAS challenge called for sparkle on your card I decided to add a few, colorful Rhine Stones and leave the rest of the image white and just add a couple of layers of Dazzling Diamonds from SU, which turned out to be just what this image needed to shine but still be CAS.
The "Merry" sentiment is part of a die set that I have had for many years but I made the mistake of not saving the label so I can't remember were it's from. I die cut it with some glimmer paper.
Here is the Cue card that inspired mine.
I hope you like this card, let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much for visiting and for your comments.
Till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Snow Flakes already??!!!.....

Hello Everyone: This week, CAS(E) this Sketch! has a really pretty sketch by N@ Ali  that gives you free range about what images to put in it so, even if Christmas is a long way off, I made this card using a set of dies I bought a very long time ago. Back then, I never entertain the idea of having a blog so, I just put my dies in magnetic sheets and tossed the packaging, ughhh!! now, I'm kicking my self in the you know what because I don't know where the majority of my dies are from. I apologize for this, I wish I could tell you the name or what company made them, if you recognize them, please let me know, ok?  Here is my card.
I die cut the snowflakes out of a sheet of pearlescent vellum and the "Merry" sentiment, from a scrap of gold paper. The only embellishments are some SU pearls.  I glued everything on a Real Red card base. Here is the sketch that inspired this card.
Thank you for visiting, now I'm the one who has the question, if you recognize this snow flake die cuts, I would appreciate if you let me know, I'm trying to label all my dies, I still have a lot without a name and this is one of them.
Till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Silly Me for CASology #167.....

Hello Everyone: I have a card to share with you today for the CASology challenge this week. Their cue card is "SILLY" so, after really looking high and low for a silly looking image, I suddenly remember this super cute Stampin Up! set, sadly, sadly retired, called "Monstermaniacs", which has the silliest looking "monsters'' ever!! Here is my card.
This silly and not at all scary monster is one of 5 images, equally funny, that come in this set. I gave this little guy a very slimy green color and bright, purple hands, I put a pair of googly eyes and also, I adorned his antennae with two purple Rhine Stones.
Ain't he just soooo scary? He is even saying ''Boo'' to you!! Are you scared now?  I stamped this image onto Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and just used my Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in baby oil to color him, I put a bit of shadow with the back pencil and I did a score line under him, but it doesn't show very good on this photo. I tried to take another one but the batteries on my camera run out, I couldn't find not one single battery in the entire house, ughhh!! Guess where I'm going later.....
Anyway, I hope you like this card, I hope you find it silly and funny too.
Here is the Cue Card for CASology's ''SILLY'' challenge.
Thank you for stopping by, till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Happy Hauntings!!!!!

Hello everyone: I have a card to share with you today that I'm linking to The Paper Players "Halloween" challenge, the Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge and the Addicted to Stamps and More! Photo inspiration challenge. Here is my card.
I had so much fun making this card, Halloween is one of the funniest, "anything goes" celebrations of the year, love to decorate inside and out my house, love to see the little kids come in their ''scary'' outfits and love to see the big teens also shyly say "Trick or Treat", LOL!! asking for candy, I hope this year's weather cooperates, my girly figure can't afford to get stuck with all the candy if its raining or to cold.
Anyway, this card was made with an old Flourishes set called "Withching you a Happy Halloween", I just love this fabulously stylish pair of witchy boots, don't you? The hat is awesome too, so is the magic broom with  all that magic dust flying all over the place.
This time I used my Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in baby oil and I was very happy to see that the Neon Green pencil matched that Neon Green piece of card stock, lucky me!!! I used a bit of my gold gel pen for the stars and dust on the broom.
That is all, a simple, fun card that I hope you like.
Here are the banners that inspired it.Till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Coffee Time for Merry Monday and Mojo Monday.....

Hello my friends: I have another card to share with you and I'm linking it to the Merry Monday Coffee Challenge and the Mojo Monday sketch challenge, I was so happy I was able to make a card to combine both. Here is my card.

Once again, I'm using an old, retired Flourishes stamp set called "Grab a Cup", I made THIS card with the other cute image.
This stamp set also has a coffee bean stamp so I fussy cut the little beans and attached to the panel to follow the sketch design. I stamped the images onto Canson Canva water color paper and colored them with the aqua painter and my SU markers in Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Basic Gray, I used my Hello Honey ink pad for the napkin and also, to sponge the edges of the panel a little bit. The sentiment was stamped with my Baked Brown Sugar ink pad. I was very happy to see that the Christmas decorations in the DSP, (from Hobby Lobby) matched the colors of my images.
Here are the banners that inspired this card.
Thank you for stopping by, now go get a Latte.
Hugs from Maria.

More Autumn x 3.....

Hello Everyone: I have another Autumn card to share with you and I'm linking it to this fabulous Challenges: Fab Friday sketch challenge, Time Out Fall inspired challenge and IN(K)SPIRE Autumn/Halloween Special challenge. Here is my card.
I probably sound like a broken record to you guys but, once again, I used an image from Flourishes, a company that sadly closed it's doors about 2 years ago, it was a sad day when I heard about it because all their stamp sets were just incredibly beautiful, this image is from one of them.
In the almost 3 years that I follow this company, I was able to accumulate a good stash of sets and then, when they announced they were leaving, I bought a whole bunch of them on the fabulous sales they held. Then, the DT started selling their stamps so I really went to town buying another good bunch, all of them with amazing images that I love.
Now, I stamped this image onto Canson water color paper with Stazon  Jet Black Ink and colored it with the aqua painter and my SU markers in More Mustard, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Gray.  The panel behind the image is made using the Paper Napking Transfer Technique which is super easy and fun to do, with so many beautiful paper napkin designs out there for any occasion, you can make your own DSP in a flash.
Here is a close up of this pretty napkin.
It has a little golden sparkle and the colors are just perfect for Fall. The only embellishment is a beautiful, retired SU button threaded with some hemp twine.
I hope you like this card, as always I appreciate your visit and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Retro Rubber Challenge #24.....

Hello everyone and happy Sunday: Yesterday my daughter Adriana called me and ask me to make a birthday card for her little 4 year old nephew who likes airplanes, so I thought "oh, no problem" right? Well, it kind of is a problem when the party is in 2 hours!!!!!  She said she forgot to tell me when the invitation came and that it was ok if I couldn't make her a card, "I'll just buy one at the pharmacy"  "What??!!! No way!!" I said, I will make you a card, just let me see if I have an airplane stamp.  Well, I rushed up her to my craft room and found the ONLY airplane stamp I own, it's from Flourishes, (who sadly closed it's doors about 2 years ago) and here is the card I made, that incidentally fits perfectly the TRAVEL theme over at the Retro Rubber challenge blog.
This image is stamped onto Canson water color paper and colored with my SU markers in More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist, I put a little bit of my silver gel pen on the propeller. I die cut the image and sponged it with Tim Holtz Broken China ink, to create the clouds, I went over the area with a damp aqua painter in a circular motion and pat it with a paper towel to remove the blue ink.
I die cut a bigger circle with a Spellbinders scalloped die and placed the image in that frame with foam adhesive, the sentiment is from Hobby Lobby's $1.00 bin, it's stamped with the same Tim Holtz ink and punched with SU Decorative Label Punch.
So there you have it, a fast card for this little boy, I hope he likes it.
Thank you for visiting, If you have any questions, I'm here to help.
Here is the Retro Rubber banner that inspired this card, till next time, Happy Stamping.
