CAS Autumn Leaves.....

Hello everyone: Today I'm sharing a card with you I made for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and the LiveLoveCards "White Space" challenge, here is my card.
These little leaves are made with THIS Impression Obsession die. I placed the dies onto a panel of Canson water color paper and die cut them, I die cut a couple more to fill the space. Then, I dipped each leaf in a  bowl of water and pat them just a little with a paper towel, but I left them quite wet. I applied ink from my SU markers to each leaf letting the ink run and I just added a bit more ink with the aqua painter as I needed to get the color I wanted.  I used More Mustard, Olive Green, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie.
I stamped the dots with my SU Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and, once the leaves dried, I placed them back onto each of their places, like pieces of a puzzle, here is a close up.
The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set, it's stamped with SU Baked Brown Sugar ink.
One of the things I love about Autumn is that, even if each leaf on the tree is exactly the same when they are green, once they start changing colors, there is not one alike, like snow flakes, each has it's own, unique color pattern, incredibly beautiful.
Here is the sketch that inspired my card.I want to thank you for stopping by, I love reading your comments, they always make my day.
Till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

The LiveLoveCards "White Space" challenge,  The Pals Paper Arts color challenge, the Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge and the Addicted to Stamps and More! CAS challenge, here is my card.
This sweet little images are from a retired SU set called "Morning Cup", I stamped them on Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black Ink. Here is a close up.
I love using this really beautiful paper. I hope you like this card, here two the banners that inspired it.

One Layer Christmas challenge.....

Hello everyone: Well, just recently I've been making a lot of CAS cards, at first it was a bit hard to get used to leaving a lot of white space on them but, the more I made them, the more I'm  loving this style.
This time around, I'm participating in the One Layer Christmas Card challenge but without the "twist", which is "Mistletoe". Here is my card.
Ok, my card was totally inspired by THIS amazing card by the incredibly talented MARIKA RAHTU, she just blows me away with her coloring techniques and style, so this is my humble attempt at CASEing her Christmas card.
I had to improvise since I do not have the paper she used (which I plan to order ASAP!!!!!), instead of the Memento Desert Sand ink and the Brilliance Moonlight Bright, I used Stazon Dove Gray ink and my white Prismacolor pencil. The first attempt at making this card was bad, this card stock is NOT for water colors so, as soon as I applied the water, it seep through the other side, I really tried to make it work but with no luck so, I stamped the image again, which by the way is from a lovely and sadly retired SU set called "Beauty of the Season", and started coloring it with my dark brown Prismacolor pencil and a paper stump dipped very, very lightly in baby oil. The white around the image was done with SU white craft ink. The white highlights are done with the white Prismacolor pencil.  Here is a close up of this image.
To add a bit of shading I lightly went over the edges of the Holly leaves and the Chickadee with my SU Early Espresso marker. The sentiment comes with the set and it's heat embossed in white.
I hope you like this card and I hope you go visit Marika's blog, Me and Minime Crafting, so you can see why I find her style so inspiring.
Thank you so much for visiting, till next time, Happy Stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Market Fresh for MOJO MONDAY.....

Hello everyone: I have a card to share with you today I made for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge this week designed by Julee Tilman , here is my card.
I made it with this image from Stampin Up! Market Fresh stamp set, I just love all 3 of this stamps which all have really funny sentiments. I stamped it on Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and colored it with my SU markers in Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, a little bit of Chocolate Chip for the base of the lettuce and So Saffron and More Mustard for the banner. The word "you" is from an old Flourishes set, the pattern paper, green card stock and card base are from my stash, I used 3 green Stampin Up! Candy Dots on the corner.
This is the sketch that inspired this card.

I want to thank you for stopping by, till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

A little Joy for "Less is More" and Live Love Cards.....

Hello again: This week the designers gals at the "Less is More" challenge blog have a new recipe for us, your card must have "Something Shiny" and my dear friend Darlene DeVries over at LiveLoveCards has another challenge called Sparkle and Shine so, I made this card in a very short amount of time, with absolutely NO stamping!! but I used some beautiful dies that have been neglected for a while. Here's my card.
The Christmas Tree is from Memory Box, the Jingle Bells are also from Memory Box but they are currently out of stock, the word "Joy" is from THIS Penny Black set.
Both the word and the bells were die cut from the boxes of my Chamade perfumes my hubby gives me, I keep them because they are just so beautiful. Here is a close up of this lovely gold die cuts.
Can you see the thin lines of this paper? I still have some scraps, I will find something to do with them.
So, this is my very CAS and shiny card, I hope you like it. Oh, by the way, I die cut the tree with a last piece of gold glimmer paper, I need to get me some more.
Thank you so much for visiting, till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Cheesy Dreams for Addicted to CAS #73.....

Hello dear friends: I'm here with another House Mouse CAS card to share with you to participate in the Addicted to CAS challenge this week, the theme is DREAM. Here is my card.
As soon as I saw the word DREAM, this little cutie came to my mind. As I told you before, I love the House Mouse Siblings, I have a good collection of stamps with them and this challenges are helping me enjoy them again. This card was made with two stamps, for the sleeping little mouse I used one called Dream Puff (I think this one is retired) and Cheesy Gift, but I didn't stamp it, I used it as reference and only copied the little piece of cheese, which I hand drew with pencil then colored.
I stamped the image on Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and colored the little mouse with my Aqua Painter and my SU Chocolate Chip marker, the cheese with So Saffron, the dream cloud with Bashful Blue and I inked my Art Impression's grass with Wild Wasabi. I added a bit of sparkle to the cloud and his sweet face with THIS shimmer paints from Impress Rubber Stamps.
This is the Addicted to CAS code word that inspired this card.I hope you like this card, as always I thank you so much for visiting and for your comments, if you have any questions, I'm here to help.
Till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

LOVE LETTERS for CASology.....

Hello everyone: I've been stamping and making cards for a few years now so, I have a nice collection of beautiful sets from all over the place. Some years ago, I discovered a company called Flourishes, you've seen me make a bunch of cards with this amazing images that I love. Just recently I started this little blog of mine and even more recently, I started participating in card making challenges and this gave me the chance to use some of my stamps sets that have been neglected for a while. The CASology Challenge cue card calls for circles this week so I grabbed this beautiful Alphabet set called "Letters in Blossom" that I've been neglecting for a while and here is the card I made with this lovely letters.
As you can see, each letter has sweet little flowers that you can color any way you want, I chose Regal Rose, Real Red and Wild Wasabi. I stamped the letters on Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and die cut them. I scored a panel of Ninah Solar White CS and glue it on top of a red card base.
This is the cue card that inspired mine.Thank you for visiting, if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them. Till next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.
