A Neutral Thanksgiving........

Hello everyone: I'm in dire need of Thanksgiving cards so here's one I will quickly add to my stash and, I need to get busy ASAP to make a few more.

This image is from a Flourishes set called "A Season of Thanks" released back in September of 2011.  I stamped the image on a die-cut panel of Strathmore Bristol paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.  The DSP is from my stash and so is the ribbon.  I stamped the sentiment (from the set) on a banner die-cut from SPELLBINDERS
I added some enamel dots from GINA MARIE DESIGNS.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from the same set as the front image, the leaf is from a Power Poppy set called "FEELING FALL

You are so "Mice".....

Image may contain: text

Hi there, Retro Rubber friends: My teammates and I have a new challenge for you to play with and it's the very popular "RETRO RUBBER", so let's get creative with your older than a year stamps and join us in our gallery.
I made a few tags using a Stampin' Up! set that was first introduced back in 1999, which was way before I knew anything about rubber stamps, blogs, card making, etc.  I was browsing Pinterest and I came across one of these delightful images on a card, and I fell in love immediately. Lucky the lady who made the card gave the name of this set which is "Mice Messages" so I went on a hunt for a while until I found it on eBay, needless to say, I bought it!!!
That was 2 years ago so, here's my set of tags, hope you like them.

I punched the Kraft card stock with the "Scalloped" SU punch and stamped the images with Memento black ink then, colored them with Prismacolor pencils, I just love the vintage look you get with Kraft paper.
There's a punched panel on the back to write messages, the Washi Tape on the top is from SU.

Hope you liked these little tags, I sure had a lot of fun creating them.

Please visit the RETRO RUBBER challenge and check out my teammates' creations, visit their blogs and leave them some comment love.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

No square or rectangle cards/Anything Goes.

No Rectangle or Square cards.

Let It Snow!!!!!

SOS Headquarters

Hello everyone: We had our first snowfall of the season precisely on Halloween, it was cold and super windy so, needless to say, there were no Trick or Treaters ringing our bell, I guess parents just took the kiddos to the Mall, Sigh!!!😞😞
So we are stuck with lots of our favorite candy bars and we have no other recourse but to eat them, sheeesh!!  I even thought of vacuum pack all of these bags to see if they would last till next Halloween but, it's more fun to enjoy them.
Anywho, the theme for this next 10 days over at SHOPPING OUR STASH is "SNOWFLAKES" and here's my card.

This image is from Lili of the Valley, stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The branch is from Memory Box and I think the Snowflakes too.  The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called"Warm Winter Wishes"

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The Snowflakes are from the Flourishes set and the Sentiment from a new Power Poppy set called Snow Kissed.
So I hope you come and play with me and my teammates over at SHOPPING OUR STASH, we can't wait to see your Snow Flake creations.

Snowy Paperwhites.....

Hello everyone and a happy November to you all!!
THE FLOWER CHALLENGE has a new one for you to play with, this month's theme is SPOTS OR STRIPES.
This is the card I made to inspire you to come and join us at our gallery.

This beautiful image is from a Power Poppy set called Glistening Paperwhites. I stamped it on a panel of Strathmore Bristol paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, then I fussy cut it and propped it on top of the blue striped DSP with foam dimensionals. I used a dotted embossing folder from Darice and I die cut the corners and the sentiment with gold foil paper.

The border is from Merry Littles and the sentiment from the Glistening Paperwhites.
