Let's Play Tic, Tac, Toe with RR.....

No automatic alt text available.

Hello everyone: I don't know about you but I love the Tic, Tac, Toe challenges, they are fun and best of all, you have a lot of options to choose from.
This is the new RETRO RUBBER challenge for the next 10 days so we hope you come along and play with us, we can't wait to see your creations in the gallery.
Here is my card, hope you get inspired and join us.

I used some images from a couple of Penny Black stamp sets to create this card, this sets are about 5 years old and I love them, I often mix the images to create little scenes like this one. The image of the little mouse riding on the snail and the one with the mousey walking are from the set called Critter Party and the little bees holding the envelope are from another set called Hugs, all the images are colored with Prismacolor pencils, the pattern papers are from my stash and the sentiment from a retired SU set called "Happy Hour", this came out in the 2012-2013 Idea Book and Catalog.
I used the diagonal on the Tic Tac Toe chart that has "Animals, Birthday and Ribbon".

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a set called Wonderful, the kitten on the corner from the Critter Party set, also colored with Prismacolor Pencils.

I hope you come and check out what my teammates created for your inspiration over at the RETRO RUBBER Challenge blog and come to join us in the gallery.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.

Olive and Oak.....

Shopping Our Stash Weekly Challenge Blog

Hello dear friends: It's time for another fun challenge over at SHOPPING OUR STASH, the theme for the next week is GIVE THANKS, so you can create a Thank You card or a Thanksgiving card, your choice, we can't wait to see your creations in the gallery.
This is the card I made and I hope it inspires you to play along.

The image is from a Power Poppy set called "Olive and Oak", I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with Stampin Up markers and an Aqua Painter, then carefully fussy cut it and placed it on my embossed panel with foam tape. The ribbon is from my stash and so is the bright orange enamel dot.

The border is stamped with a retired SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Dahlias", the Olive cluster from the Power Poppy set.

Hand Embossed Vellum.....

Hello everyone: I love Vellum, I love how it softens an image or a background and it also adds a touch of elegance to handmade cards.
I have an old Pergamano kit I bought a long time ago that has some really pretty patterns to emboss on Vellum or Parchment Paper so I decided to create a card following one of these patterns and hand emboss a piece of Vellum, so here is my card, hope you like it, I will play along with a few challenges at the end of this post.

I just die cut a piece of Vellum with the Wonky Stitched die set and carefully traced the images and the sentiment with a white gel pen, then, I went over each with my stylus, flicking the edge of the petals to get that white effect and retracing the outline of all of the images.
Then I added some color to the back of the Vellum with some Prismacolor pencils.
I attached the Vellum with glue dots to a panel of black card stock and added some Rhine Stones to cover them, I also added gold ones to the centers of the flowers.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The edge is stamped with the retired SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment and the flower on the corner are from a The Ton set called Beautiful Day.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Image result for pergamano kits

This is the kit I bought a few years ago, I tried to look for it again but the two Amazon sites, one in Europe and one here in the USA lists it as CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE.
I apologize for not giving this information when I posted this card.
