Peony Love.

 Hello everyone: As always, I hope and pray you and your families are doing well, taking care of yourselves and each other.  Try to stay healthy and safe and please, please WEAR YOUR MASKS.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello everyone: My teammates and I over at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, have a new one for you for the month of November.  This time we want to see SENTIMENTS on your cards. I know we almost always stamp one but this time, it needs to be more noticeable.
Here's the card I created to inspire you to come and play along.
This beautiful wreath of Peonies is from an old Flourishes set called "Peony Love" (2012).  I stamped it on Canson Mixed Media paper with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it, colored it with SU markers and fussy cut it.
The background panel is embossed with a SU Tufted Textured embossing folder, (retired), I added gold paint to each of the little dots for a little bling.
Now, I'm afraid I just can't remember where I got the die I used to cut the sentiment so, if any of you recognize it, I would be very grateful if you could let me know, thank you in advance.
This is the INSIDE of my card.
The sentiment and the flower are from a retired Flourishes stamp set called "Lenten Rose".
I hope you go and take a look at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE blog to get more inspiration from my awesome teammates.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Stay healthy and safe and PLEASE wear your masks.
Hugs.
Maria.
Retro Rubber Challenge # 147.
 Hello everyone: I hope all of you and your families are doing ok, taking care of yourselves and each other.
Today is Election Day so, I hope that, if you haven't voted yet, you'll do it today, please don't forget to wear your masks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The new challenge over at RETRO RUBBER is one of the most popular ones so, I created something that I think you'll like.

These boxes were inspired by two projects by the very talented Julie DiMatteo, her blog "The Paper Pixie" has a video gallery where she shares some of the most adorable and useful boxes for all kinds of celebrations.

This is the first box I created. The wreath and sentiment are from a Power Poppy stamp set called "Wreaths Plain and Fancy (2015), stamped on white card stock with Memento black ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I added some gold gel pen to the ribbon and bow.

And here is the LINK TO HER BLOG, this is a super easy box to create and it's a great size to fill with all kinds of goodies.

This is the second box. The pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley (discontinued), the little present and sentiment are from a Power Poppy set called "Merry Littles", (2014), I colored the gift box with Prismacolor Pencils.

And this is how it looks when it's open, there's room in there for 3 "Merci" chocolates, some of my favorite.

Here's the  LINK TO THIS BOX, it is super easy to make.

So, I hope you come and play along with us at RETRO RUBBER, please remember to use stamps that are older than one year and, if possible, we would love to know how old they are.

Thank you for visiting today.
Please, stay healthy and safe and don't forget to wear your masks.

Hugs.
Maria.

They Call Me a Witch!!

 Hello dear friends: I always hope and pray that each one of you and your families are ok, that you are taking care of yourselves and each other and that you are wearing your masks.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm here again with another theme from TWO OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE and I hope you come and play with us in our gallery.
This is our Mood Board, lots of fabulous images to choose from, colors and ideas (I would love to have that hat) so I hope you get inspired and join my fabulous teammates and me and play along.
And here's the card I made to inspire you, hope to see your creations in our gallery.
This fun and fabulous image is from Whipper Snapper and it's called Hitchin' A Ride, I love it, especially love that kitty hanging on for dear life.
I stamped it on Canson Mixed Media paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with some distress inks and Prismacolor pencils.
The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Tee-Hee-Hee", (2014), the ribbon is from my stash, the pattern paper from "My Paper Studio", from Hobby Lobby.  The "craters" on the moon were stamped with one of the stamps on a Waffle Flower set called "Layering Marble"
This is how the INSIDE looks like.
The sentiment and accessories are from the SU set.
I hope you come and play along, we can't wait to see what you create.
