Shh!! Amanda Is Sleeping.....

Hello everyone: All of my friends in blog land know I adore the House Mouse siblings, they are just about the cutest, sweetest and mischievous little critters out there. This particular image has not been inked up yet, I got it on October or November of last year with a coupon at my local craft store, the moment I saw it, I had to have it, this is why.....

This is Amanda, she is adorable. I stamped this sweet image called Violet Nap on a piece of white card stock with Stazon black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in Gamsol.
The tiny sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Baby Love", stamped with Shaded Lilac distress ink.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The loops at the top are from a retired SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from Stampabilities and the little baby rattle from the "Baby Love" set, colored with Prismacolors.

In The Kitchen.....

Hello everyone: One of my fondest childhood memories is of my amazing maternal grandmother, she came to live with us when I was about 10 years old, she loved to bake and we grandkids enjoy her delicious loaves of bread and cakes, cookies and pies, our house was always smelling fabulous, she taught me how to bake with yeast, which I think is fascinating, I love it. So now, of course, I spoil my grandkids with lots of baked goodies, sometimes I get a text with a request from my now older grandkids, for a cake or cookies, which I always very happily fulfill😉
So this little apron brings back some of these memories of my grandma, baking goodies for all of us grandkids.

This image is from a very old Flourishes set called "Fresh Baked", came out back in 2012, all the images are beautifully detailed and yummy too.
I stamped the apron on a scrap piece of Lili of the Valley pattern paper with Stazon black ink, colored the trim with Rose Red marker and fussy cut it. I put a couple of pieces of Scotch tape in the back to give the paper a bit more strength, especially on the apron strings and the spoon on the pocket.
The wooden spoon was stamped on white card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils, then fussy cut the same way. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment from the set.

The lace trim on the top is from a retired SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment and cookie from the Flourishes set.

Twofer Challenge #13.....STARS.....

Hello dear blogging friends: I was finally able to finish my Twofer cards for Challenge #13 with a theme of STARS.
It took me a while to come up with something nice since I only have one little die that is actually a tag but it cuts really pretty little stars around it so, I used this die to create these two cards.
Here is a picture of both of them together and later I will tell you how I made them.

************************************************************

This sweet image is from a collection of Fairy stamps my aunt gifted me a few years ago, she found them at a thrift store, dirty and stained, some haven't even been inked up, there were in a box with no information at all about them, she bought the 20+lot for $10.00 and gave it to me. After I washed then dry them really well, I started stamping them and to my surprise the images were gorgeous.
I haven't played with my Faries in a while so I'm glad I took the time to play with this lovely one.
I stamped the image on Ninah white card stock with Stazon black ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils, I've been enjoying using these pencils a lot lately.
I used the die from Spellbinders set called Nestabilities Decorative Elements Floral Ovals to die cut the little stars in gold foil paper to add to the Fairie's Dust, I also colored the little dots swirling around the Fairy with a gold gel pen. I decided not to add a sentiment, I felt like it was going to look a bit out of place on this scene, I think the image speaks for itself.

**********************************************************

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a very old Flourishes stamp set called "Orchids", I always use it when I make Fairy cards, I love it.
The little Toad Stool Mushroom is from a rather new Power Poppy set called Wild Mushrooms.

**************************************************************

This is my Twofer.

The banners are from a super old Flourishes set called "Patriotism on Parade" that came out back in 2009, love all of these images, especially the little kids.

I stamped the banners on white card stock and colored them with SU markers, then I die cut more of the little stars but this time I used silver foil paper, and glue them on top of the stars on the banners. The Sentiment is from my stash, the fireworks from The Ton Pyrotechnics.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I punched the card with a Friskars punch, old as I don't know what!!, the sentiment and the streamers are from my very old stash.

I want to play with the following challenges.

Wish Big!!!!!

Hello everyone: I was checking my stash of kids cards and found out I needed to add to it, even if my grandchildren are not little kids anymore, (my youngest grandson is almost 11) I still have a few little ones on my youngest daughter's hubby's side of the family that I need to make cards for, so when she asks for a card, usually the day before or even the day of the party, I won't be rushed to make something quick, I don't like to do that so, here's this card to add to my stash of young kids cards.

This cutie pie is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Montstermaniacs" that came out back in 2013, I bought it specifically for my grandkids, I just love all the cute little "monsters" in this set.
I stamped this image with Stazon black ink on white card stock and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in Gamsol.
The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Pinwheels and Popsicles", the balloon is die cut and the string I drew it by hand, I think the die set is from Memory Box, but I'm not entirely sure.

********************************************************

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I think the sentiment is from Stampendous, (gosh!! I regret not saving the information on some of my stamps and dies), the little candles are from a Penny Black stamp set called "Cupcakes".

I want to play with the following challenges.

Want to Dance?????

Hello everyone: I'm here again with another CAS card to share paired with another beautiful and inspiring quote.

I bought the ballet shoe image and the sentiment a gazillion years ago, they are both plain red rubber and I didn't know where either of them came from, but now, thanks to the kindness of Monica C. from Sunshine Creativity now I know that this stamp is from a company named "My Heart Stamps for You" and you can find this particular stamp BY CLICKING HERE, just scroll down the page a little bit. When I bought this stamp many years ago, I threw away the packaging back when I didn't even have a blog or entertain the idea of ever creating one. So, thank you so much Monica C., I sure appreciate your kindness providing me with this information.😊
I stamped the image on white card stock with Stazon black ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils, I'm really enjoying coloring with them a lot lately.
When I was done, I stamped the sentiment on top with Versafine black ink.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The lacy top is from a Stampin' Up! set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Springtime Love
