More UFO's!!!!!!!

Hello, everyone: I hope all of you are doing well, taking care of yourselves and each other by keeping our masks on and the social distancing active.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So I've been making some serious dent on that pile of UFO's I showed HERE and HERE, and here are two more cards created with panels from that bunch.
The aspect that gives me the most trouble is picking the layout, I'm always at a loss as to what DSP to use or what embellishments to add, the coloring of the images is fun and usually goes fast.
Bubbles, Bubbles!!!!!!!!
Hello everyone: As always, I pray all of you and your families are doing well in this very difficult and trying times.
I hope you are staying healthy and safe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a couple of cards that I created for the Twofer Challenge, one of my favorite challenges of all times.

************************************************
First card.

This cute image is from the Penny Black stamp set called "HUGS", I stamped the little Hedgehog on white card stock with Stazon black ink and masked the "heart bubble" he was blowing and replaced it with my Tiny Bubbles from Memory Box. The butterflies are from Penny Black "Critter Party", the sentiment is from Penny Black Wonderful, the grass and flowers from Art Impressions.

****************************************************
This is the INSIDE of the card.

The sentiment and flowers are from the same "Wonderful" set.

*************************************************
My Towfer.

This image is from the House Mouse collection called Happy Moments, I die cut the tiny bubbles with the same Memory Box die a couple of times and cut them in sections to glue on top of this little bunny, the pattern paper is from my dwindling stash from Lili of the Valley, I finally made a decision to use it.
The sentiment is from a SU set called "Tea Together".

This is the INSIDE of this card.

I used 2 SU sets here, one is called "Whimsical Words" (2010 Sale-a-bration), the little flowers are from "Beautiful Bouquet" (retired)

Between Friends

Hello everyone: I'm continually praying and hoping you and your families are doing well as we go through these trying times.
Stay healthy and safe.
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So I've been busy with my efforts to use my UFO's, which were just there in a box waiting for some color or to be used on a card. These panels were relegated to the "unfinished" box because I either changed my mind or I didn't like the way the image was stamped so now, thanks to the Shopping Our Stash challenge, in which I'm a member of the Designer Team, I finally gave all of this images one more try and created cards with them.
Here's yet another one of these images.
I adore the House Mouse siblings, they are mischievous and adorable at the same time, this card is one super cute example. The image is called "Feathered Friends", stamped on watercolor paper with Stazon black ink and colored with SU markers, the sentiment and the feather are from a Papertrey Ink stamp and die set called Feather Finery.
***************************************************
This is the INSIDE of the card.
The sentiment is from a retired SU set called "Language of Friendship" (2011-2012), the branch and the little bird are from an Altenew set called Birch Land.
I want to play along with the following challenges.
A Twofer From My Pile.
Hello everyone: In spite of what some people say, this Pandemic is still here, and it will be here for a while, IT can't be wished away, you can't predict IT will go away either, so it's better to listen to the people who actually know what they are talking about and do the "social distancing" thing, wear the uncomfortable mask if we must go out and be patient. I know this is hard for kids and young adults, heck!! it's hard for an older woman like me so it's even harder for these poor kids who look forward to Summer Vacation all school year long.
So let's take care of ourselves and each other.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So, I've been working diligently to reduce my pile of unused and partially colored images from the "changed my mind" box. I've shown a couple of pictures of these images HERE and HERE and now, here are a couple of more cards from these piles.

First card.

The image is from a retired Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends", stamped with Stazon black ink on Strathmore Bristol watercolor paper and colored with Windson/Newton watercolor markers. The pattern paper is from my coveted stash from Lili of the Valley.
************************************************
This is the INSIDE of this card.

The sentiment is from the Tulips for Friends set, the little tulips on the corner are from another Flourishes set called "From the Garden" colored with Prismacolor pencils.
****************************************************
Second card.

I love this sweet Cardinal couple, from the Power Poppy set called Cozy Cupfuls, which happens to be on sale now!!
The die cut is from Tim Holts "Alterations" die set. I added some Rhine Stones for a little bling.
******************************************************
This is the INSIDE of this card.

Both the sentiment and the little mug are from the same stamp set.

WOOHOO!!! I'm making progress, I'm just scratching the surface of this pile of great images that, for whatever reason, I never used.

A Little Reminder.......

The challenge over at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE for the month of June is a color one, you must use the color Navy plus another color, just one color, ok?  Here's the card I created to inspire you to join us in our gallery.

This image is from a Power Poppy set called Everything's Even Rosier, which unfortunately is retired.  I stamped the image on Strathmore Bristol paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.
The sentiment is from the set and the corner die-cut is from THIS TIM HOLTZ SET which is on sale now, just saying.
By the way, I was wondering if there were actually blue roses in Nature....well, no, not in Nature but some florists do tint roses blue and they are really beautiful.
Check out this VIDEO.

This is the INSIDE of my card.

The border is punched with a Martha Stewart punch, the sentiment and the little roses on the corner are from the Power Poppy set.

I hope you get inspired to come and play along with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, please visit our challenge blog for more inspiration from my awesome teammates.

Take care, stay healthy, be safe.

A Couple of Frames.......

Hello everyone: I'm so grateful for this hobby, I'm sure you are too. I've been creating cards with forgotten panels and halfway colored images, little sentiments, bows, and other stuff that for some weird reason, were put in this box with the thought "I'll get to it later".
Anyway, I was looking for some yarn in my closet and found a bag with what looks like a press, plus several bags of different metal color frames.

Has any of you seen this apparatus? It even came with those little stencils on the upper right corner. Good Grief!! why oh why I haven't used this stuff to create a card??  I found also two images that have been framed, which I used to make today's card but I don't remember if I ever posted anything with them.
Anywho, here's my card.

The images and sentiment are from three Power Poppy sets, Orchids RockCountryside Bouquet Delux and Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips.
The pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Everything's Even Rosier, the little flowers on the corner from Tea in the Garden.
