Hello everyone: As always, I hope and pray you and your families are doing well in these turbulent and difficult times. All we can do is pray for justice to be really served so healing can really start. Discrimination hurts us all, it divides us, deprives us of opportunities, it feeds fear, mistrust, hate.
We need to celebrate our differences, we need to appreciate the cultural and economic contributions all immigrants bring when we arrive here, this enriches the fabric of this amazing Country, this compels us to learn about each other, we all have a history, rich in culture, traditions, amazing music, delicious foods.
Ignorance=Fear.
Stay safe and healthy.

The SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge this time around is asking you to use your SCRAPS, you know? stamped images and die-cut sentiments that were put away just because you changed your mind, pieces of ribbon and yarn, buttons, scraps of pattern papers or card stock, etc.
Here's a picture of some of my unfinished images.
This image is from a beautiful Stampin' Up! set, forgotten and neglected by me, (for shame!!) called "Faith in Nature" (2011-2012), the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Simply Camelias, which happens to be on sale now.
I just love the font on this set's sentiments.
This is the INSIDE of this card.

This is just the first layer on the box, I probably can create a card every single day for a few months using all of this stuff. Why do we stamp the images, begin to color them and then just say: "Nah, I don't know......." So I'm going to be busy for a while finishing the process of creating a card with all of these really beautiful images.
Here are a couple of cards.
This image is from a retired Flourishes set called "Zenias", I stamped it on yellow card stock with Versafine black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, the pattern paper is from a stash of leftover pieces.
The enamel dots are from Gina Marie Designs.
This is the INSIDE of this card.
The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Always Here, the butterfly from another Power Poppy set called Pure Prairie Spirit.
Second card.

So we at SHOPPING OUR STASH hope you guys go to your drawers, boxes, bags, or wherever you put those bits and pieces of ribbon, stamped panels, sentiments, etc. (you know you have them) and create something to share with us in our gallery.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Stay healthy and safe.

Wow what a pile of gorgeous colored images! I love those zinnias! I remember that pretty pear set, too bad we were encouraged to sell discontinued stamps back in the day at Stampin' Up! Lucky you for hanging on to great stamps!
Oh, my word! I can't believe you have that many colored and partially colored images... and this is just a smidgen of them!!! Wow, Maria! I think I have two fully colored small images that I'm undecided as to whether I want to make cards with them. But you have a bunch of gorgeous things! The two cards you're sharing today are soooo beautiful! I'm sure glad you finished them. I can't wait to see more!
