Little Succulents.....

Hello everyone: I love Succulents, they are hardy as they are beautiful, require minimum care and they look amazing near a sunny window any time of the year.

These cute, little Succulents are from a My Favorite Things stamp set called "Sweet Succulents"
I just stamped these images on watercolor paper with Stazon black ink and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.
I fussy cut the plants and the pots, which I also stamped with a Waffle Flower set called LAYERING MARBLE to add a bit of texture to the otherwise, plain pots.
I used a Tim Holts brick wall EF for the background and a Cuttle Bug "Swirls" EF for a bit of decoration, the sentiment hanging is from a Power Poppy set called Farmers Market.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I used a scrap piece of embossed brick wall for the top, a sentiment from a Power Poppy set called POTTED PRIMROSES and the little succulent from SASSY SUCCULENTS also from Power Poppy.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

The image is from a Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips and its heat embossed in white and colored with SU markers adding a bit of Wink of Stella, hope you can see it, the sentiment is from the same set.
The die cut frame is from Spellbinders called Tranquil Moments, the middle section where the flowers were stamped was traced and fussy cut.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I stamped the border with a retired SU set called "Bordering Blooms", the sentiment is from another retired SU set called "Whimsical Words" and the slice of cake is from an old Flourishes set, I think it's called "Celebrate".

Home Grown.....

Hello everyone: I have a card to share inspired by the awesome colors of the Altenew July Challenge, I'll link the color chart at the end of this post.

This little garden scene is from the Altenew set called Garden Grow, with super adorable and sketchy looking images to create really beautiful garden scenes.
I stamped them on a panel of watercolor paper with Stazon black ink and used some of my granddaughter's Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, I love how intense they are even when diluted with water.
The sentiment is from the set.

Please, be Square.....

Hello everyone: Welcome to another challenge over at RETRO RUBBER.
This time around we are partnering with the fabulous DOUBLE TROUBLE CHALLENGE, we hope you come along and play with us.
Our theme is "Christmas in July" so, let us forget for a bit the Summer Heat and think of snow, Santa, Christmas Trees, lots of gifts and all the other good things that are related with this most Wonderful Time of the Year.
This is the card I made to inspire you to play along.

These sweet looking images and the sentiment are from an old and retired Flourishes set called "Sweets of the Seasons" (2010). I die cut 4 pieces of Bristol Vellum watercolor paper, (it's a bit thinner and die cuts well), with the "Fleur de Lis" die set from Spellbinders and stamped my images with Stazon black ink and I colored them with Prismacolor pencils. I also cut 4 squares of Gold Glimmer paper for a bit of bling behind the images.

The Snowflakes and the little mittens are from a retired Flourishes set called "Warm Winter Wishes" (2010), the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Poinsettia.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

All of us hope you come and play along with the RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE and the DOUBLE TROUBLE CHALLENGE.
Please remember to read the rules on both our challenges to be eligible for the prize.
