CAS Sweet Peas.....

Hello everyone: There was a time when CAS cards were not on my list to create.  I like layering and a little bit of embellishing but, somehow, CAS cards have grown on me so, here's this one that I will enter into a few challenges.

This image is from a super old Flourishes stamp set called "Sweet Peas",  I stamped it on a folded piece of white cardstock with Stazon black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, the sentiment is from another Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends" and it's heat embossed in gold.
It's hard to see in this picture so I took a few more and this one is the best I could get.

And this is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I think this sentiment is from Penny Black but I'm not sure, I have no packaging for it.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

The Sweetest Bat Girl.....

SOS Headquarters

Hello dear blogging friends: Tomorrow is Halloween so here at SHOPPING OUR STASH, my teammates and I are showing off our Halloween cards and we hope you come and join the fun showing us yours in the gallery.
Here is mine and I hope it inspires you to come and play along.

This little Bat Girl (no, it's not Batman's sidekick, LOL!!) is from Kraftin' Kimmie and it's called "Batty Princess", (I've had this rubber stamp for at least 3 years), I absolutely love her wings, her hair, her dress, her batty friend and, of course, her spider friend too.
I stamped her on a piece of watercolor paper with Gray Stazon ink and colored her with my Sakura Koi watercolors and my Prismacolor pencils.
The spider is from a super old Stampin' Up! set called "Best Friends" that came out back in 2006, talk about OLD, eh? the BOO sentiment was punched with a punch that is so old also I had forgotten where I got it.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

All of the images are from a retired SU set called "Bite Me"

So I hope you get your Halloween stamps out and come and join my teammates and me in the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery, don't forget to stop by the DT's blogs to check out their creations and get more inspiration from them.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.

Apple Picking Season.....

Hello dear blogging friends: Well, apple picking season is here and let me tell you, the flavor of those cold, fresh picked apples is second to none.
So to celebrate this beautiful tradition around here I made this card and I hope some of you have a chance to go pick some delicious apples real soon.

This delicious crate of apples comes from the Power Poppy set called FARMER'S MARKET and all of the other images are just as beautiful and as fresh looking at this one.
I stamped it on a die cut watercolor circle with Stazon Gray ink, (I think it's called Dove Gray), and colored it with SU markers, a damp brush and Prismacolor pencils. The background is a SU stamp called "Hardwood".
The sentiment is from the set.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from another Power Poppy set called SHORT STACKS, the apples are part of the image on the front, I just inked those with a gray SU marker.

I would like to play along with the following challenges.
