Paper Piecing Mushrooms.

Hello everyone: I hope you and your families are doing well, staying healthy and wearing your masks. I also hope that most of you have already gotten your vaccinations, my hubby and I are going for our second shot on April 18th.

I haven't played with this fabulous stamp set from Power Poppy called "Wild Mushrooms" in a long while so here is this card I created using the "Paper Piecing Technique"

*************************************************

This is the INSIDE.

And this is what I used.

Power Poppy "Wild Mushrooms" (sadly retired)
Pattern papers from my stash.

I want to play with these Challenges.

I used Prismacolor pencils to color the bottom of the
mushrooms, I hope it's ok since color pencils are not on the list.

Anything Goes.

Thank you for visiting me today.

I'm Batty for You!!

Hello everyone: I hope and pray you and your families are doing well, taking care of each other and wearing your masks.

My hubby and I got our first Covid-19 vaccine shot last March 18th., we'll go to get our second shot on April 14th.  Aside of sore arms, we didn't get any adverse effects so we are so very grateful for that.  We will continue to wear our masks and practice all the guidelines prescribed by doctors and scientists.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, my teammates and I from the 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE want to invite you to play along.  I know we celebrate other Holidays this month but still, I think it would be fun to step out of the usual themes and create something a little spooky and fun at the same time, how about it, eh?  This is the card I created to inspire you and encourage you to play along.
This is the INSID
And this is what I used.
This fun image is from Kraftin' Kimmie and it's called "Batty for You".
Unfortunately, it's retired, so, so sad!!
I used Prismacolor pencils on everything except her dress.
When I colored it, I didn't like the way it looked, I wanted a lime green
color but I didn't have it so, I stamped the image again on a piece of lime green card stock and fussy cut it, I like it a lot!!
And, of course, I gave this beautiful lady some awesome eye shadow with a Q-tip and a lime green chalk.
The sentiments inside are, I think, from Stampendous, but I'm not sure.
I hope you get inspired to play along, get into a Halloweeny kind of mood for a little while and join my awesome teammates and I in our gallery.
For more inspiration, don't forget to hop over the 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE  and check out the DT creations.
Tulips and Dragonflies, plus little boy blue.
 Hello everyone: I hope and pray that you and your families are doing well, taking care of each other and still wearing your masks.
I found a few beautiful images on Pinterest the other day, from coloring book pages, have you heard or seen these pages? The sketches are amazing but they don't have the name of the artist, I wish I knew who drew this one so I could give that artist their due credit.
I printed the image on white card stock and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.
Rainbows
 Hello everyone: As always, I hope and pray you and your families are doing well, taking care of each other and wearing your masks.
My hubby and I went to get our first Covid-19 shot on March 18th., and I'm happy to report that, aside for a sore arm at the injection site for a couple of days, we didn't have any adverse effects to the vaccine for which we both feel immensely grateful, we go for our second shot on April 14th.  Of course, we will continue to be cautious, as the guide-lines from doctors and experts suggest.
