 Hello everyone: AS ALWAYS, i HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES ARE DOING WELL, STAYING HEALTHY AND SAFE.

wE'VE ARRIVED AT THE HALF WAY POINT FOR THE 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE, THIS IS OUR MOOD BOARD TO INSPIRE YOU TO PLAY ALONG.

I've been having all kinds of fun making cards for this challenge, I think what attracted me so much are the golden touches on our inspiration picture, besides, I truly love making Halloween cards, I used to wait till maybe September, to start making cards for friends and family, mainly my grandchildren when they were little.

I still make them, but now it's more for my friends who share my love for Halloween images, don't get me wrong, I like all the other celebration dates through the year but, Halloween.......well........you can't deny that the images on these stamps are simply fabulous and fun.

and this is what I used.

1.- This stamp is very old, the first time I used it was back in 2015 on this card, I love these pumpkins, I don't know what they are arguing about but, whatever it is, they look soo menacing, lol!!

2.- the raven is from a 2010 Stampin' up! set called "dark and dreary"

3.- the branch is from "memory box".

4.- the sentiment is from "witching you a happy Halloween" from power poppy.

A Gift from a Friend.....

The fun and fabulous "TWO OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE has a new photo inspiration for you in September, we can't wait to see what you create.  Here's my card to inspire you to play along.

this is the inside.

And this is what I used.

The sentiment, which I heat embossed with purple glitter embossing powder, the skull and bones, the creepy tree and the haunted house are a gift from my dear friend Sonny Peterson, whom I've known since 2012, she got these dies at amazon.

The inside sentiment is from flourishes set called "witching you a happy Halloween" (2010)

The flying bats are from a background stamp but I just can't remember where I got it.

This challenge gives you the chance to add to your Halloween cards stash, so if you are like me and still love sending spooky cards to family and friends, this challenge is for you.

 Hello everyone: Hope you are all doing well, keeping each other safe and healthy. We've all gone through some very rough and trying times and, even if things are better, we are still taking all the precautions, especially wearing our masks.  Please, take care of yourselves and each other.

I'm Batty for You!!

Hello everyone: I hope and pray you and your families are doing well, taking care of each other and wearing your masks.

My hubby and I got our first Covid-19 vaccine shot last March 18th., we'll go to get our second shot on April 14th.  Aside of sore arms, we didn't get any adverse effects so we are so very grateful for that.  We will continue to wear our masks and practice all the guidelines prescribed by doctors and scientists.

So, my teammates and I from the 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE want to invite you to play along.  I know we celebrate other Holidays this month but still, I think it would be fun to step out of the usual themes and create something a little spooky and fun at the same time, how about it, eh?  This is the card I created to inspire you and encourage you to play along.

And this is what I used.

This fun image is from Kraftin' Kimmie and it's called "Batty for You".

Unfortunately, it's retired, so, so sad!!

I used Prismacolor pencils on everything except her dress.

When I colored it, I didn't like the way it looked, I wanted a lime green

color but I didn't have it so, I stamped the image again on a piece of lime green card stock and fussy cut it, I like it a lot!!

And, of course, I gave this beautiful lady some awesome eye shadow with a Q-tip and a lime green chalk.

The sentiments inside are, I think, from Stampendous, but I'm not sure.

I hope you get inspired to play along, get into a Halloweeny kind of mood for a little while and join my awesome teammates and I in our gallery.
