Silver and Gold......

Hello everyone: I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping each other healthy and safe.

I don't know about you but, I have the hardest time photographing cards that are heat embossed in sparkly embossing powders, the light plays with each little glittery thing and it's very difficult to get a good picture so, after about 10 pictures of this card, here's the "best" one of them all.😕

This is the inside.

And this is what I used:

Power Poppy "Party Time" 2016.
Penny Black "Love and Joy" die set.
Power Poppy "Poinsettia" 2014. (for the sentiment inside)
Power Poppy "Merry Littles" (2014) for the tree on the corner)

I want to play with:

Thank you for visiting me today.
Please stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.

A Gift from a Friend.....

Hello everyone: As always, I hope and pray you and your families are doing well, staying healthy and safe.

The fun and fabulous "TWO OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE has a new photo inspiration for you in September, we can't wait to see what you create.  Here's my card to inspire you to play along.

this is the inside.

And this is what I used.

The sentiment, which I heat embossed with purple glitter embossing powder, the skull and bones, the creepy tree and the haunted house are a gift from my dear friend Sonny Peterson, whom I've known since 2012, she got these dies at amazon.
The inside sentiment is from flourishes set called "witching you a happy Halloween" (2010)
The flying bats are from a background stamp but I just can't remember where I got it.

This challenge gives you the chance to add to your Halloween cards stash, so if you are like me and still love sending spooky cards to family and friends, this challenge is for you.
my teammates and I can't wait to see what you create.

Stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.
