Interactive Tags.....

Hi there, everyone: I have a pair of Interactive Tags, my very first of this kind.
It was a bit tricky to create them since I've not done it before but here they are, hope you like them.

The pink one is a Shaker Tag, I just cut two pieces of pink card stock and punched them with the Scalloped Tag Punch, cut a piece of vellum and attached it with score tape to the back piece, put a spoonful of beads and, using more score tape, I made the sandwich, I stamped a couple of the chicks from a Tiddly Inks acrylic set called For the Birds, (they only have it now in digital form.), colored them with Prismacolors and fussy cut them, I stamped the sentiment from the set and a couple of little candles from the Penny Black set called "Cupcakes".
The second tag is done using THIS VIDEO FROM DAWN GRIFFITH on how to create the spinner part. I stamped the sentiment from a Power Poppy set called SHORT STACKS, the cupcake is from Penny Black, the gifts were cut using the Stampin' Up! die set "Celebration Thinlits"

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Full Bloom.....

Hello everyone: I finally was able to finish this card today, it's been hectic this week mainly because my grandchildren are on Summer Break so we go to the Crown Point YMCA brand new Aquatic Center's outdoor pool and spend some fun time basking in the sun, (well, me.....not so much), swimming, having lunch, etc. That pretty much takes most of my day some days, but also, I've been having some Sciatica problems so, I also have been going to doctors appointments, etc. I'm feeling a lot better today after my doctor gave me a Cortisone shot yesterday.
Anywho, here's my card.

This beautiful image is from a Power Poppy set called "Daffodils", I absolutely adore the little snail climbing up the leaf.
I stamped it on Canson watercolor paper with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it, then colored it with some of my grandaughter's Windsor & Newton markers that she let me borrow, the colors are intense and with just a little bit, you get bright colors when you apply the wet brush.
I used my old Stampin' Up! Pinkin Hearts corner punch on a piece of pattern paper that perfectly accommodated my flower panel.
The sentiment is from a Spellbinders die set called "Oval Magesty"

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from a retired SU set called "Delicate Borders", the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called "Short Stacks", the cupcake from a Penny Black set called "Cupcakes".

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Favorite Summer or Winter color and why.
My favorite colors of Summer are pinks and purples.

A Very CAS Wedding Card.....

Hello everyone: I haven't made a Wedding card in a while so I inked up a very old Stampin' Up! set called "Best of Brides and Babies" (2013) to create this card, I love the sweet, delicate lines of this lovely couple.

I added just a bit of color to her bouquet, both their hair and faces and colored his bow tie with a black marker, I thought of coloring his tuxedo black but my black fine tip pen is almost out of ink (I used it to create yesterday's Zentangle card).
I used a die from the Labels Collections Framelits dies to emboss around the image, it's very subtle on the picture but it looks better in person.
I used a card base I had already scored, I figured it would look good framing this very delicate image.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The bells are from the "Best of Brides and Babies" set, the sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Picking Wildflowers", released in June of 2010.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Zentangle Flower Shop for DD.....

Hello everyone: It's been a while since I made a Zentangle card, for those of you who haven't heard about this fun doodling technique, it's just a relaxing and fun and very easy to learn way to create patterns, that can be, literally, anything that comes to your mind. Perhaps my card will show it better than I'm explaining it.

When I saw the mood board over at the Double D Challenges, the decorated wood eggs (well, they look like they are wood eggs to me) made me think of Zentangle and that's why I created this card.
These flowers are from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Flower Shop" (2013-2014), I used the flower that has the outlines only so I could fill them up with my doodles. This set has a coordinating punch, which I used to punch out the flowers after I did my doodling.
The leaves are from an Altenew set called "Peony Bouquet", which I also decorated, and the sentiment is from another Altenew set called "Beautiful Day"

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I used a scrap piece of pattern paper as a border, the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Springtime Love and I partially stamped and decorated the same flower at the bottom.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.
