A Very, Very Special Card.....

Hello dear blogging friends: The card I'm sharing with you today has a very special meaning for me because it was made with my 20 year old granddaughter Vanessa's first ever digital image, created by her and it shows some of her amazing talents as an illustrator and artist.   You can read a bit of her story HERE and view the image at her ETSY SHOP and , perhaps get this beautiful image for yourselves.  Here is the card I made with it, hope you like it.

I printed the image on a die cut panel of Drawing Paper because I wanted to color it with my Prismacolors, the sentiment is from a stash of unknowns, this one might be from Stampendous.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called "Short Stacks" the leaves from a retired SU set called "Peaceful Petals"

I would like to play along with the following challenges.

Country View Challenges  "In the Summer Garden"

Sheepski Designs Challenge #16 "For Someone Special"

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Rustic Rejoicing.....

Hello everyone: There is a new challenge over at SHOPPING OUR STASH and this time my teammates and I want you to use Kraft cardstock in your creations.
Here is my card and I hope it inspires you to come and join us in the gallery.

This card is created using a lovely image from a Power Poppy set called RUSTIC REJOICING, I stamped it on a piece of watercolor paper with Versafine black ink, clear heat embossed it and colored it with SU markers and re-inkers, then I added it to a folded Kraft card base.
I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the ribbon, I hope you can see it, this shimmery stuff is hard to photograph. I die cut the watercolor panel with a Spellbinders die called "Majestic Labels 25". I also added the corner dies from a set from Cherry Lynn I found in my stash of left over embellishments.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment and Jingle Bell are from the set, the lacy border is from a retired SU set called "Delicate Details"
