A Little Reminder.....

Hello everyone: We've come to the half way point on THE FLOWER CHALLENGE sketch challenge so, my teammates and I created some more cards for you to get inspired and join us in the gallery.  Here is mine.

I was having a hard time taking this pictures, it's foggy and gray and awful so, I apologize for the darkness, I think I will get one of those picture boxes with a built in LED light, I've seen some good ones out there.  But anywho, this image is from a Stampin' Up! 2015-2016 Catalog Hostess set called "Best Thoughts". I always loved this beautiful Hydrangea flower and I was lucky to get it on Ebay.
I just stamped it onto a panel of Whisper White card stock with Versamark ink and white heat embossed it, then, wetting each petal, I colored this flower with a set of  water colors that my aunt gave me the other day, they are from Sakura Koi and the shades are gorgeous.
I bought this sentiment plus a few more also on Ebay and I heat embossed it in gold glitter.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment and butterfly are from the same set.

Here is another look at the fabulous sketch we have for you to play with.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Got To Roll With The Punches.....Or Dies.....

Hello everyone: It's time for a new challenge over at SHOPPING OUR STASH, the subject for this week is PUNCHES OR DIES so, get busy and join my teammates and I in the gallery. Here is my card.

Sometimes I need a bit of inspiration to create my cards and for that, I go to Pinterest, where I found THIS CARD by Heidi Baks and decided to CASE it, thank you Heidi.
This flowers are made with the awesome Stampin' Up! set called Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, fabulous images that you can die cut in any color, I'm so glad I invested in this dies, they are awesome.  I just sponged the centers of the flowers with some distress inks and added 3 enamel dots for dimension.
The word "you're" is cut with my Cricut machine, I'm ashamed to say I haven't used it in years, I was even thinking of selling it or donating it but I'm sure glad I didn't because it helped me cut this word to compliment my other sentiment "amazing" which is one of my new dies I bought from Ebay.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

I stamped my sentiment from the old Flourishes set called "Magnolias" and die cut it with a Spellbinders die set called "Oval Regalia".
So, there you have it, get your punches and or dies and I hope you join us in the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery, please stop by the blog and check out the awesome cards from the rest of the Designer Team, then visit their blogs and leave them some comment love.
Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.

Hello dear blogging friends: My teammates and I have a new challenge over at RETRO RUBBER for you to play with, this time we want to see you create your cards using your older than a year BABY CRITTER STAMPS , we can't wait to see what you create.
Here is my card that I hope inspires you to join us in the gallery.

Most of you know how much I adore the House Mouse siblings, this image is one of the many reasons why I just love them. The stamp is called "Butterflight" and I think it's just adorable, I have had this stamp for at least 5 years.
I colored it with SU markers and Prismacolor pencils for the Butterfly's wings, the pattern paper is from a discontinued line from Lili of the Valley, the sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Hello Baby". The little hearts on that tag are made with an old Stampin' Up! corner punch, I really do not use it to punch corners, I just love the perfect little hearts it punches.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The frame around the CONGRATULATIONS word is from Penny Black and this is discontinued, I couldn't find it to give yoiu the link so it's old, the sentiments are from a Tailored Expressions called "Onsie Twosie", I looked for it but I'm afraid it's discontinued, so it's pretty old too.
So I hope you feel inspired to join my teammates and me in the RETRO RUBBER gallery, please stop by and check their amazing cards and blogs and leave them some comment love.

Please remember that, in order to be considered for Top 5 Picks, the stamps you use must be older than a year, we would love to know how old they are or how long you've had them.
You can use other new products like paper, dies and punches but, at least one of the stamps used should be older than a year, we want you to give those older images a chance to shine again.
Also, you can combine our challenge with up to 10 challenges, INCLUDING OURS.

I'm entering this card onto the following challenges.

Hello Gorgeous!!!!!

Hello everyone: Today I have a Fairy card to share with you that is not part of the rubber stamps my aunt gave me some years ago, this one is a digital image from Sugar Nellie called "Story Teller", unfortunately they do not have it anymore, I went to look for it and a few others that I wanted but they told me they do not sell those images anymore. Why????? I do not know why they discontinue this lovely images, oh well. Here is my card. (I'm so happy I bought this file)

I had this image for years, my printer is not working and since I really do not need it all that much, this sweetie was just there, in the downloads folder, waiting to be colored and enjoyed.  My youngest daughter, who luckily lives next door, told me to email this files to her to try to print them for me so I did and, VOILA!! it worked, I had so much fun coloring her.
I was afraid that the printer ink was going to bleed when I use water colors but it didn't, woo hoo!! so I colored her with SU markers and Prismacolor pencils.
I added some punched out little dots to the mushrooms because I saw this photo and loved it.

Image result for red mushrooms white spots

Isn't it just gorgeous?
Here is a close up picture of my little mushrooms and I hope you can see the glitter on her wings.
