Flirty and fun.....

Hello everyone: I have a super fun and cute card I made with a set of stamps I bought on Ebay some time ago. I don't know were they are from or their stamp set name, they came in a grab bag that was labeled "Feminine and Flirty", they were like $6.00 for about 10 stamps.
Anywho, her is my card, I think I will give it to my hubby for Father's Day 😘

Aren't this just adorable? I just stamped this image onto water color paper with Stazon black ink and colored them with SU markers this time and my "fixed" Wink of Stella pen, you can check HERE to see how I fix it so I can still use it once it's dry.
***************************************************************
Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Lots of Thoughts", the little lace circle, from the same group as the main image.

I'm linking this card onto the following challenges.

CASOLOGY Week #253, "Clothes"

Making Memories Crafting Challenge #6 "Anything Goes/Bingo Board.
Taking a chance here, I went with the diagonal "Lace, Image, Sentiment"
I want to say this cute clothes have lace on them.

Pansy Garden.....

Hello everyone: It's that time again when all of us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE are reminding you to go and check it out and join my teammates and I in our gallery.
The "Anything Goes" theme is very popular because it gives you the chance to just go and create whatever you'd like, just keep in mind that FLOWERS should be the main focus of your card.
Here is my card that I hope inspires you to play along.

Pansies are some of the sweetest of flowers, they are small but they are gorgeous and hardy, they come in all kinds of colors and some, like in this card, have 2 or 3 colors in their petals. Most times, when I need to have an idea about the colors of flowers I go to Google, here's a picture of Pansies that gave me the starting point to color this images.

Image result for pansies pictures flowers

Aren't they just lovely? Well, my image was stamped onto a piece of water color paper with Stazon black ink and colored with Sakura Koi water colors and my water filled Wink of Stella brush, I just opened the brush, filled it with water and shook it, there is a lot of the glittery stuff left in there after your brush feels dry, so don't throw it away!!
This is what I do, super easy!!
Unscrew the brush part from the bottom then, with some small pliers, carefully grab the black part and pull it out of the chamber where the glitter is, put it aside like in this picture. Then, grab the bottom part and carefully fill it with water but not all the way or it will spill the glittery stuff.
Now, put the black thingy back inside the water filled part, screw back the brush part and shake it. Hope you give this a try, there is a lot of the glittery stuff inside this chamber, enough to water color with a shimmery look.
Anywho.....on my first CARD for this challenge I die cut the picket fence for my little patch of flowers, this time, I used a small Martha Stewart fence punch on a piece of brown card stock that I stamped with a Wood Grain background stamp, the "dirt and grass" were stamped with the retired SU "Gorgeous Grunge" and a small grass image from Art Impressions.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends" and the little flowers in the corner from another set called "Violets", I didn't have a small enough Pansy image to fit.
So now it's your turn to hop over THE FLOWER CHALLENGE to check out what my teammates have created and join us in our gallery.
Please add the Challenge Banner to your post when you upload your card to the gallery and also, please limit your other challenges participation to 6, including ours, read our rules at the top of the challenge page, they are few but important.

Hey Sugar!!!!!

Hello everyone: I made another quick card this morning, nothing fancy, just very CAS, at least this is what I think.

See what I mean?  This little sugar bowls are from a very old stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms, all the images are very retro, very 50's. and I really love them.
All I did is stamp the sugar bowls using the MISTI and then, I made a mask for the sugar bowl just so I can stamp the spoon, colored them with Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in baby oil and that was it. Super quick and easy.
The sentiment is from an old flourishes set called "Fresh Baked" and it's perfect for this images.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

Sentiment and sugar container are from the same set.
I'm linking this card to the following challenges.

HAPPY MAIL.....

Hello everyone: In this day and age of electronic communication, the beauty of handwritten words is sadly getting lost. Kids are still being taught some kind of penmanship but, even the little ones in kindergarten, have computers available to them so, more and more everyone is grabbing pen and paper less and less and instead, just sit at the computer, (like I'm doing now, sheeesh!!😧)and write an email to friends and family.  I wont deny my note will arrive at it's destination blazing fast but, it's so much sweeter and personal, to find an envelope (that is NOT a bill) with a beautiful handmade card and a handwritten message inside, ahh!! HAPPY MAIL!!!
So, to encourage all of us to actually grab pen and paper to communicate with our friends and family, the SHOPPING OUR STASH has a challenge for you to play with with a theme of "HAPPY MAIL" which means anything that has to do with writing a letter, from envelopes to pens, stamps to mailboxes and, of course, images of the friendly post office folks who, rain or shine, they deliver our mail, whether is HAPPY or not, to our homes daily.
Here is my card that I hope will inspire you to join my teammates and I in our gallery.

This image is from my huge stash of Flourishes stamp sets and it's the very first one I bought when I discovered this company back in 2011.
I stamped it onto a die cut piece of water color paper using a postage stamp die, with Stazon black ink and colored it with SU markers this time. I stamped the little ink well separate, colored it and fussy cut it to add dimension to this panel.
I sponged a bit of Hello Honey around the image and added a piece of lace from my ribbon stash.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment is from this set, I stamped a partial image of the flowers and the ink well again.
I'm entering this card onto the following challenges.
City Crafters Week #366, FRAME IT.
The Crazy Challenge #250 USE FLOWERS.
Fashionable Stamping Challenges Challenge #124 MAKE IT FEMININE.

I hope my card inspires you to join us in the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery, we're looking forward to see what you create.
Please read our rules, they are few but important.

A Taste of Honey.....

Hello everyone: I have a card to share with you, made with one of the sweetest and sadly retired, Stampin' Up! sets called "Just Buzzing By.....", I mean, this little bees are just adorable.
But this time I only used the Honey Jar, that reminds me a lot of the one Winnie the Poo always treasured and constantly was eating from.
This card will be entered onto a couple of challenges, one of them is the "Less is More", this time the talented gals of the DT want us to make a "ONE LAYER" card.

This image was stamped onto a blank card base, the kind I always use for my cards. I stamped it with Stazon Dove Gray ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in baby oil.  The circles around this jar were made with one circle die, I just draw around the inside and then the outside of it with  my pencils.
Then, using a stencil, I sponged the Honeycomb image with Hello Honey ink and stamped the sentiment from a retired Flourishes stamp set called "Apple of my Eye", by Marcella Hawley, the little bees are from a Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos.....Foxglove and Ranunculus, both this bees were carefully snipped off the stamp just so I can use them on other cards, I keep them in a little ziplock bag taped to the back of the set.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

I stamped the sentiment and sponged the Honeycomb border with Hello Honey.

I'm linking my card onto this challenges.
