A Purse For Any Occasion.

Hello everyone: I hope you and your families are doing ok dealing with all the pain and confusion of what's going on lately.  This is not new, every time it happens we feel outraged, claim something must be done to stop it but, other than the protests, nothing really changes.  But CHANGE is what we need, I hope it comes like lightning, and be decisive and just.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't have a card to share today, what I have is an adorable little purse I created following the directions of Julie DiMatteo on THIS POST in here fabulous blog called "The Paper Pixie", as soon as I watched it, I just fell in love with it.
I promise you, this little purse is as beautiful as it is easy to create.
I changed it up a bit by adding a matt for the DSP, some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and, since I didn't have the Velcro Dots Julie used, (which I already ordered, 😉) I used little magnets. I also added a stamped little tag, which can be customized for any occasion.
The flower is from a Power Poppy stamp set called "Simply Camellias", which happens to be on sale now. I stamped it on white card stock with Spun Sugar DI from Tim Holtz and added shadows with a pink Prismacolor pencil.
The DSP is from a sadly retired line from Lili of the Valley.
I hope you go and check out Julie's blog and give this little purse a try, you'll love how easy and fun it is to create.
I'm playing along with these challenges.
Simpy Violets.
Hello dear blogging friends: I hope you and your families are doing well, staying healthy and safe in these very difficult times we're living at the moment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Violets and Violas are some of my favorite little flowers, they always seem to be smiling, their colors are beautiful but I love the purple ones the most.
I decided today to get another image from my box of "UFO's" (Un-finished Objects) and create a card with it.

********************************************************
This is the INSIDE, I left it without a sentiment because more often than not, I need a different sentiment for the cards my family asks me to provide.
This card can very well be a "Birthday" card or a "Get Well" card.

This is what I used to create this card.

"Violets" from Flourishes (2009)
"Crackle Paint" Stampin' Up!
"Curly Cute" Stampin' Up! (2010-2011)
Prismacolor Pencils.

I want to play with the following challenges.

A Little Bird Told Me.

Hello everyone: I hope you and your families are doing well, I know some children are going back to school, 3 of my grandkids started last week and I must confess I'm terribly worried because, in spite to what "some people" keep saying, children are also at risk of contracting this terrible virus and also, bringing it home to parents and elderly members of their families.
I pray that all children who are going back to school be blessed and kept safe and healthy.

As you can see, the RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE has this fun sketch for you to play with for the next 10 days.
Here's the card I made to inspire you to come and play along in our gallery.

I love this image of a little Australian Parrakeet perched on this stack of teacups.
I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with Winsor&Newton watercolor markers.

This is the inside.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Always Here, the feather is from a Papertry Ink set called "Feather Finery"
