Tea Time With a Friend.....

Hello and a Happy Easter Weekend to all, I wish for you and your family a beautiful and Blessed Day.
So, here I am again with another card created with that super cute SU set called "Best Borders", 4 sweet and adorable line ups with simply beautiful images.
Yesterday I created THIS CARD with one of the stamps and today, I have another one to share.

Now tell me, aren't these teapots simply adorable? I just love coloring them with my Prismacolor pencils, they have a lot of detail and it did take me a while to finish but I enjoyed every minute of the process.
The image is stamped with Gray ink, colored and then, I re-stamped it with Versafine black ink, I just left my stamp on the MISTI to do this, for a final crisp and perfect outline.
The sentiment is from an old, old Flourishes set called "Grab a Cup", it was released back in November of 2013.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from the Flourishes set and the little teacup is from a retired SU set called "Morning Cup", from the 2010-2011 Catalog.

I would like to play with the following challenges.

Spring Lineup.....

Hello everyone: I have been sticking to my resolution about not purchasing any new stuff and use what I have, which is plenty and also beautiful.
This little Spring card was created with one of those super old stamp sets from Stampin' Up!.

This cute image is from the Stampin' Up! set called "Best Borders" that came out back in 2004.  Back then, I had no idea at all about stamping, stamps, or blogs, that happened much later, like in 2009 or 2010, then I created my blog back in 2013 and, well.....here I am.  I bought this set from Ebay about 2 years ago.
I just stamped this image on a piece of white card stock with gray ink, colored it with Prismacolor pencils and re-stamp it using Versafine black ink, when I color with my pencils I often lose the outline.
The pattern paper is from my stash, the sentiment from a Power Poppy set called Natural Beauties.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

Both the sentiment and the little pot with Rosemary are from another Power Poppy set called Sage Advice.

Black and White Dahlia.....

Hello everyone: From all the Monochromatic color options, Black and White are my favorite so, every time I see a challenge with this theme I jump in.
Here's a card I created using one of my old Flourishes sets called "Dahlias" that was released back in July of 2013.

I stamped the image on a die cut piece of white card stock, first with gray ink and colored it using only the Black and White Prismacolor pencils.  I left the stamp on my MISTI to restamp the image using Versafine black ink and clear heat emboss it to have a more defined outline.
The butterfly and the sentiment are from a Power Poppy set called Pure Prairie Spirit, I stamped the Butterfly on a scrap piece of white card stock with Versafine black ink and added a bit of shading with my black pencil then, I fussy cut it and glue it to the panel, the ribbon is from my stash.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from the Power Poppy set, the little vase in the corner, from the Flourishes set.

So Charming.....

Hi there, everyone: I don't know about you but sometimes, I buy stuff only to put it on the waiting list to be inked up and I never get around to do it, shame on me!!! Well, this year I'm keeping my resolution of using only what I have, some of this stuff is still in its unopen package, ughhh!! Double shame on me!!!
So today I have a super cute card made with one of these beautiful and neglected, brand new stamp sets from Stampin' Up! called "Charming Cafe", (well, brand new to me but it's unfortunately retired) I even bought the dies, seriously.....Triple sham......well.....you know, right?
So here's this sweet bundle in all it's cute glory.

Isn't it just adorable?? Super easy to color, the dies cut the paper really close to the image and I've seen lots of cards made with this set that really makes me smile, so this is just the first one, I'll be making a lot more.
I stamped the images on white card stock with Stazon black ink and colored them with my Prismacolor pencils, easy peasy!!
The garland was stamped again and die cut, the same with the little topiaries, ohh!! sooo cute!!!
I stamped the sentiment using different colors of SU markers.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is done with a retired SU set called "Delicate Details", the rest is from the Charming Cafe set.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Stippled Blossoms.....

Hello everyone: It's time for a little reminder for TTHE FLOWER CHALLENGE Sketch challenge.
Here's the sketch, I just turned on the horizontal.

And here's my card, I just turned the sketch on the horizontal.

These flowers are from a very old Stampin' Up! set called "Stippled Blossoms" that came out in the 2012-2013 catalog. In my resolution for this year to use my super old and neglected sets, I'm so happy to have pulled this one out. It's a bit tricky to stamp the two-step images so I'm very grateful to have my MISTI.
I used some Distress Inks for stamping, a scrap piece of pattern paper from Lili of the Valley, another from pink vellum and a metal sentiment from my stash. The words "you are" are borrowed from a Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips, I added a few Enamel Dots from Gina Marie Designs.

***********************************************************

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from a retired SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Tea in the Garden, the little bud is from the SU set and the Butterfly from a Stampendous Set (retired)

I hope you stop by THE FLOWER CHALLENGE blog to see my awesome teammates' beautiful cards and then, come and join us in the gallery.

Kiss the Frog.....

Hello everyone: In keeping with my 2019 resolution of trying not to buy any more new stamps and just use what I have, which is A LOT!! here's this card created with this SADLY DISCONTINUED rubber stamps from "Alotofstamps", that always brings a smile to my face, I even think the company is no longer in business because I went hunting for it and I couldn't find it anywhere.
But, anywho, here's my card, hope it makes you smile.

A simple card, really. This Froggy is super easy to color and fussy cut.
The "sentiment" was from a 2009 card maker magazine I got at a second-hand store, the image of the frog on that card was from a stamp set that came with that sentiment,  super fun but when I looked for it, I couldn't find it so I used this Martini drenched frog, which is also super fun and I just hand wrote the sentiment on this die cut piece of card stock.
******************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I was really wracking my brain to find a sentiment for the inside that would kind of fit the theme on the front so I went rummaging through my old stamps and found one from Impression Obsession called Riding Pretty, this set is so cute and I have the dies too, WOO HOO!!  The little froggy on the corner is from a retired SU set called "A Flower for all Seasons", isn't she just the cutest? This set is from way back in the 2008-2009 catalog, I love each one of the 4 stamps.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Hope there is enough open space on this card.🙏
