Lets Have Cake.......

Hello everyone: I know I say it every time I post but, I hope you all are doing well, keeping busy and being cautious, we all need to adjust to a new "normal" so, let's make the most of it.  I'm posting a little late because we went to the store to get some things we needed and I'm happy to say we found what we needed.

This card was created with a couple of totally forgotten stamp sets, the cake is from Stampin' Up! set called "Celebration Time", (I have the dies too) from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog and the equally forgotten "Layering Marble" stamp set from Waffle Flower, (2013)
I must confess that this set is a bit tricky to use, I watched several videos on Utube to try to learn how to position the stamps but I think I need more practice, I kind of got a bit frustrated so I decided to just stamp the images trying to create the marble effect and then, I added some gold paint to some places for a little bling.  The sentiment is from a retired SU set called "Itty Bitty Banners" (2013), the little paper flowers are from my stash.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a 2010 Sale-a-bration SU set called "Whimsical Words", the little candles are from a Penny Black set called "Cupcakes"

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Oh, Sweet Pea.......

Hello everyone: I hope all of you are doing well, staying safe and healthy, in these uncertain times, we must help each other by obeying the guidelines set up by experts, who know what they are talking about and will not misguide you, we also must be patient and keep busy, I'm thankful for this hobby that helps us pass the time and also, be creative.

This image is from a Power Poppy set called Sweet Memories, unfortunately the stamp set is retired but you can get the digital version called Sweet Pea Show, (on sale now😉), the pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley (retired), I embossed the back panel with the "Quilt Top" embossing folder from SU.  The image is stamped with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed, then colored with SU markers and an aqua brush.
The butterfly is from a retired SU set called "Papillon Potpourri"

A Cup of Tea.........

Hello everyone: I hope all of you are doing well, staying healthy and safe.

I've been trying to use the old stamp sets that I've own for years and, I'm sorry to say, I've neglected for way too long so, here's this card using one of those sets that haven't seen ink for a while.

This image is from an old Flourishes set called "Grab a Cup" (2013), stamped with black ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley (retired), the enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs, the sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink stamp set called Tea for Two Additions (2013)
I'm afraid these two sets might be unavailable.

This is the INSIDE of my card.

The border is from a retired (2017 SAB) SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from the Grab a Cup set and the little loose tea infuser, from the Papertrey Ink set.

Ears to You..........

No photo description available.

Hello everyone: Here's a fun Tic Tac Toe board from the  RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE with lots of fun options for Easter, and here's the card I made to inspire you to come and play along, I picked the diagonal line with Easter, die-cut or punch and baby animals.

These little bunnies are from a 2013 Stampin' Up! set called "Ears to You", I just love them, especially when they are stamped in pastel colors.
I used an old Darice EF to emboss the back panel, I sponged it with distress inks.
I stamped the bunnies and fussy cut them and gave each a little bunny tail.
I stamped a bunch of flowers and grass with some Art Impressions stamps and added a little butterfly from Penny Black.
I die cut a flower and it's center with the retired SU die set "Botanical Builder", the leaves are punched with a retired SU punch called "Bird Builder Punch".
The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Signs of Spring" (2009)

****************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is stamped with a retired SU set called "Bordering Blooms" (2014-2015), the sentiment is from another old Flourishes set called "He Is Risen" (2012) and the eggs are from a retired SU set called "Nature Walk" (2011 Occasions Mini).
I hope you stop by the RETRO RUBBER challenge blog for more inspiration from my fabulous teammates.
Remember to use at least one stamps that is one year old or older and, if you can, please tell us the year you purchased it or the year it was released, that will give you a good idea of when you bought it.
I also go to the Splitcoaststampers page when I need to know the year my Stampin' Up! stamps were released, it's in alphabetical order, you just click on the picture with the letters your set start with and just scroll down till you get to your stamp set.

Thank you for visiting me today.
Hugs.
Maria.

Christmas Line Up!!!!!

Hi there everyone: I know Christmas is still far away, up here we're not out of the cold yet, this morning the temperature is a bone-chilling 26 degrees which won't improve much the rest of the day.
So here's this simple little card that I will gladly add to my Holiday stash.

This line of festive gifts is from an old Flourishes set called "Christmas Borders" (2009) and they are cute as can be, I colored them with SU markers, the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Marcella's Mix Tape Vol.1 (this set is, unfortunately, retired) and I heat embossed it in gold for a bit of bling.

******************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from a SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from another SU set called "Perfectly Penned" (2011-2012 annual catalog).
The balloon is from a Penny Black set called Wonderful

I would like to play with the following challenges.

Thank you for visiting and for your comments.
