St. Patrick's Day Flower Basket.

Hello everyone: I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping each other healthy and safe.

It's been a while since I posted anything on my blog, I think my subconscious and my hubby being retired, has a lot to do with this, I don't know if any of you are experiencing this too, if you do, I know you'd understand what I'm talking about.

But anyway, I have a card I want to share with you today that is just in time for St. Patrick's Day, hope you like it.

The stamp set I used is called "Blossoming Basket" from Stampin' Up! (2018)
This is a very versatile image; this basket of flowers is just perfect for any kind of celebration.
The sentiment is from another Stampin' Up! set called "Free as a Bird" (2019-2020).

This is the inside.

I want to play with these challenges.

I was inspired by the green little shamrock.

Well, my friends, it took me a while to remember how to put my watermark on the card, it's amazing how quickly things get pushed to the back of your mind if you don't use them often.
Anyway, thank you for stopping by today and for your comments, have a wonderful day.
XO
Maria.

Oval Elegant Rose.......

Hello everyone: As always, I hope and pray you and your families are doing well, taking care of each other and staying healthy and safe.

**********************************************************

Well, finally October is here and Autumn has started, this is my most favorite time of the year, mainly because of the glorious colors and cooler temperatures, it's as if Mother Nature is gifting us with one last color blast before Winter arrives.

THE FLOWER CHALLENGE has a new challenge for you to play in October, here's our banner with the theme, which is "Shaped Cards", we hope you help us celebrate our 5th. Birthday, from someone who's been here from the start, I hope for many more years with this wonderful team of talented and fabulous ladies.

This is the card I created to inspire you to play along.

*******************************************
This is the inside.

And this is what I used:
The rose image was purchased on Ebay.
The sentiment on the front of the card is from a Power Poppy set called "Dynamic Duos: Foxglove and Ranunculus", at the moment it's sold out.
The sentiment on the inside is from an Altenew set called "Beautiful Day

I stamped the rose on a separate piece of pink card stock with "Spun Sugar" from Tim Holtz, and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, paper stumps and Gamsol.
I fussy cut it and used glue dots to place it on the steam that I had stamped on the scalloped panel. The leaves are from the same Altenew set.
The die I used is from Spellbinders, the scalloped one is from Kaisercraft and it's called "Nesting Scalloped Stitched Ovals".
So I hope you come and join the fun and celebrate with us our 5th. Birthday.

From the Desk Off......

Hello everyone: I'm always hoping and praying that you and your families are doing well, keeping each other safe and healthy.

I have a second post to share with you today, this card was super fast to create.

This is the inside.

This is a detail of the sweet little inkwell.

This is the very first stamp set I bought from Flourishes back in 2011.
I fell in love with these images the first time I saw them.
I positioned the stamp in a way that allowed me to ink up the image with a marker. I lightly added color with my Prismacolor pencils.
For the inside corner detail, I stamped the inkwell and then, again positioned the stamp with the pen on the MISTI to lean it on the edge of the inkwell.
The spots are heat embossed with WOW Gold embossing powder.
The sentiments are from the set.
The detail on the inside top is from SU "Delicate Details" (2017)

Tulips and Dragonflies, plus little boy blue.

Hello everyone: I hope and pray that you and your families are doing well, taking care of each other and still wearing your masks.

I found a few beautiful images on Pinterest the other day, from coloring book pages, have you heard or seen these pages? The sketches are amazing but they don't have the name of the artist, I wish I knew who drew this one so I could give that artist their due credit.

********************************************

This is the INSIDE.

And this is what I used.

I printed the image on white card stock and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.
The inside sentiment and small tulip are from an old
Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends", by Marcella Hawley.
