Want to Dance?????

Hello everyone: I'm here again with another CAS card to share paired with another beautiful and inspiring quote.

I bought the ballet shoe image and the sentiment a gazillion years ago, they are both plain red rubber and I didn't know where either of them came from, but now, thanks to the kindness of Monica C. from Sunshine Creativity now I know that this stamp is from a company named "My Heart Stamps for You" and you can find this particular stamp BY CLICKING HERE, just scroll down the page a little bit. When I bought this stamp many years ago, I threw away the packaging back when I didn't even have a blog or entertain the idea of ever creating one. So, thank you so much Monica C., I sure appreciate your kindness providing me with this information.😊
I stamped the image on white card stock with Stazon black ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils, I'm really enjoying coloring with them a lot lately.
When I was done, I stamped the sentiment on top with Versafine black ink.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The lacy top is from a Stampin' Up! set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Springtime Love

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Pretty in Pink.....

Hello dear blogging friends: The new challenge over at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE is all about MONOCHROME, you can use any color and the shades of that color on your cards, you can use black or white as an option and to stamp your sentiment.
Anywho, here is my card for the challenge, I hope it inspires you to create a card using perhaps your favorite color and join my teammates and me in the gallery.

This image is from a Power Poppy set called Countryside Bouquet Delux and I chose to use all kinds of pink shades on it. I saw THIS VIDEO on Pinterest and decided to kind of CASE the card, which is really beautiful. I added a few highlights and shading with a couple of Prismacolor pencils and a few Rhine Stones for bling, the corner die cuts, I found a piece of ribbon, that happens to look exactly as the colors of distress inks I used for the card in a bag where I save the last pieces from the spools, the sentiment was a leftover from another card, the pattern paper is from a discontinued line from Lili of the Valley.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The images and sentiment are from the same set.

We Wish You a Very Pink Christmas.....

Hello everyone: I have a super cute Christmas card done in pretty much non traditional colors to inspire you to join my SHOPPING OUR STASH teammates in our gallery.
The theme is to use mostly the color PINK in your creations, we can't wait to see what you come up with. This challenge will run for 2 weeks instead of the normal 1 week, we know how busy this time of the year can be, with all the preparations for family visits and friends dropping by so, one extra week will be just fabulous for all of us.

This card was made with mostly stuff from my stash of ribbons, left over die cut paper (the frame was cut last month I think, for a card but I changed my mind), I knew I had some die cut greetings in my little box where I keep them and there it was, the "Merry" word, all I did was to die cut it again on some fun foam for dimension, I also found there the three little Christmas Lights there, also left over from another project. The background paper is from my stash of pattern papers.
The sweet little Elf is from a My Favorite Things set called "Santa's Elves", I purchased a while back on Ebay but never used so, I combined a bit of old and new on my card.  I stamped this little sweetie with Versafine black ink and colored it with SU markers and the aqua painter, I added a bit of gold gel pen to the jingle bell on her hat.

********************************************************************

I always finish the inside of all my cards, this saves me time when I need to mail them.
I stamped all of this images with Tim Holts distress ink in Picked Raspberry.

So I hope you have a few minutes that you can squeeze in between shopping and cleaning to play along with us. For more inspiration, please go to the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG and check out the beautiful cards my teammates have there for you.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

DANCE!!!!!

Hello everyone: The sentiment on this card says some pretty amazing words that I deeply believe in.
I think I've followed this quote to the letter pretty much all of my life, after all, if you don't try something because it might be hard, you will always wonder if you could have been successful.
I don't know if any of you have heard THIS SONG BY LEE ANN WOMACK, the lyrics always make me very sentimental, I hope you like it.
I'm not a ballet dancer but one of my Triathlon friends has a ballet studio so I often make her some tags with this beautiful ballet shoes image to give to her new students along with some goodies when they start taking the classes.

I stamped the image from Stamp Addicts on vellum with Stazon black ink and dried it a bit with the heat gun, then colored it in the back with SU markers. I stamped the sentiment (from Hampton Art) on the front. The pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley (discontinued line), ribbon and charm from my stash.

******************************************************************
I always finish the inside of my cards, saves me a ton of time when I mail them.

The sentiment is from Stampabilities and the flower from a retired SU set called "Fast and Fabulous"

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Moving Along with the Times Challenge #57 "Add a Charm or Tag"
In the Pink Challenge #126 "Ribbons and or Bows"
As You Like It Challenge "Christmas or Not Christmas and why?"
I have a good stash of Christmas cards so I wanted a little bit of change.

It's Sooooo PINK!!!!!

Hello everyone: The new challenge over at SHOPPING OUR STASH is all about the color PINK so, here is my inspiration card, I don't think I've ever made a card this pink before, except for some invitations.....I'll explain, hope you like it.

I don't usually buy this very pink card stock but I had some in my pink stash that was left over from some Birthday Invitation cards I made for one of my youngest daughter's sister in law's granddaughter, (sheeesh!! that's a mouthful, eh?) she was going to turn 9, if I remember correctly. This little girl LOVES PINK and all things girly, so I went and bought a few pieces of this very bright pink card stock and made 30 invitations, very cute, if I say so myself. I had some left over pieces which came in really handy for this card.
The images are from an Altenew set called Persian Motifs.  I stamped this images onto Vellum with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with WOW pearlescent embossing powder and colored them with Prismacolor pencils then, fussy cut them and adhered them with glue dots to the panel, the Butterflies are from SU retired set Papillon Potpourri, stamped and colored in the same way.
The word "Hope" is die cut with an Elizabeth Craft Designs.
*******************************************************************
Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Magnolias", the butterfly is from an unknown set I had for years and years.
So, are you in a PINK MODE now? I hope so, my teammates and I can't wait to see what you create, there are tons of occasions that will fit this challenge beautifully.
For more inspiration, hop over the SHOPPING OUR STASH blog and check out the rest of the Design Team's creations, you will be happy you did.
Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
