Hello Gorgeous!!!!!

Hello everyone: I've been busy this morning making some cards to post on my blog, I took a little brake last week to recharge my Mojo and clean my craft room, which is a never ending task. It's not totally horrible but, sometimes I don't put away stuff I used for one project before I start bringing other stuff for another project and.....well, you know how this song goes.
But anyway, I have a card to share with you today to participate in the Mojo Monday #430 sketch challenge and on the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge, with a theme of GIRLY. Here is my card.

I haven't used this adorable set of retired SU dies in a long time so, when I saw the theme at the Curtain Call challenge, this cute dresses came to my mind. There is a mix of many different things here, all of them sadly retired but non the less, lovely.

The dress die is from Stampin Up!, the beautiful floral DSP is from Lily of the Valley, the sentiment is from a retired Flourishes stamp set, the button is also from SU. The only item that is not retired is the scalloped circle and this is from a Sizzix Framelits die set I had for a long time.

The sentiment is stamped on vellum with SU Strawberry Slush and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to prevent it from smearing.

I love making the little jacket for this dress, so darn cute.

The ''buttons'' and ''Peridot'' are from my stash.

CASology #180.....OPEN.....

Hello everyone: The Cue Word at the CASology challenge blog this week is OPEN. This word can be interpreted in so many ways, from OPEN window to OPEN road, OPEN sea or OPEN arms but I chose to go with OPEN flowers, here is my card.

I picked this retired image from a Flourishes stamp set because this flowers are in different stages of opening. There are two closed buds, one flower is opening and the other one is completely open. 

I stamped this image onto Canson water color paper and colored it with the aqua painter and SU markers in Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, More Mustard and Always Artichoke, I highlighted the petals and the leaves with Prismacolor pencils #929 Pink and #908 Dark Green.

I cut the image and framed popping up the frame with dimensionals.

Calla Lilies for Freshly Made Sketches #218.....

Hello everyone: I have a card to share with you today using  the very simple and elegant sketch from Kim Singdahlsen over at the Freshly Made Sketches , here is my card.

This image is from a retired Flourishes set called "Calla Lilies" this images are so beautiful.  I wanted to color them the right way so I went to Google and I got an eye full, this lovely flowers come in all kinds of colors, from pinks to deep purples, soft yellows and oranges, reds and white, some with deep colored centers and white on the outside, a marvel of Nature and a delight to see.

I stamped this image onto a piece of Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and colored it with SU markers in Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and More Mustard. 

The pictures of this flowers showed a bit of texture on the cup so I added some Prismacolor pencil #995 in Mulberry. Here is a picture of the actual flower.

I just love this color. Here is a close up of my flowers.

I heat embossed the sentiment from the same set in gold, this is the only "bling" I'm adding to this card, the little linen tread bow just adds a bit of texture to the design.  The two brackets tied with the bow are from a Spellbinders labels set.

A Simple Birthday for CASology SIMPLE challenge.....

Hello again everyone: I have a quick and simple card for you I made like in 15 min. for the CASology challenge, the CUE card is SIMPLE. Here is my card.

This images are from a stamp set called Pyrotechnics from The Ton . I finally was able to buy this set, it was out of stock forever so, when they told me it was back, I just pounce on it and got it.

I stamped and heat embossed this two images with Versamark ink onto a panel of Canson water colorpaper with some silver and gold iridescent embossing powder. The sentiment is from a Power Poppy stamp set called Go Wild , I needed something pretty but simple.

Asters for the Pals Paper Arts.....

Hello everyone: Even if this Winter has been milder than others up here in NW Indiana, it's still very cold and gray, we had a dusting of snow the other day but not enough to talk about or create havoc on the streets.  So I wanted to step away for a little while from all the Winter cards I've made for the Holidays and bring a bit of Spring into my craft room so, I created this card for the Pals Paper Arts which is hosted this week by the amazingly talented and sweeter than cotton candy, Mary Fish. Here is my card.

I'm a September gal and the Aster is our flower, it has many meanings, among them are Thoughtfulness and Sincerity, they are beautiful.  I stamped this image from a retired Flourishes calendar set, this one is "September though December", on a circle die cut of Canson water color paper and colored with the aqua painter and SU markers in Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler, easy peasey.  The sentiment is also stamped onto water color paper with Cherry Cobbler ink. The pretty DSP is from Lily of the Valley.

I think the little flowers in the paper look like Asters.  Here is a picture of the inside of my card.

I have a lot of retired Flourishes stamp sets, this little bunch of Asters are from the set called "Lots of Thought", both sentiments are from a set called "With Gratitude", I adore this font.

A Masquerade for Mojo Monday #429.....

Hello everyone: Well, I'm slowly getting back into the card making swing of things, the Holidays are behind us and now, we have January to kind of get that Mojo going again and what better way than with the awesome MOJO MONDAY challenges, which are always fun, this first challenge is a sketch one and here is my card.

I wanted to step away a little bit from all the Holiday cards I've been making lately and give this challenge a bit of pop. I used a Verve stamp set called MASQUERADE , I adore this beautiful masks, which have a matching DIE SET , right now, both this items are on sale so go check them out. 

I stamped the images onto scraps of Canson water color paper, because I wanted something with a little dimension and I heat embossed them with SU Tempting Turquoise and Crushed Curry embossing powders, I did the same with the handle for both masks. I used some retired SU DSP and I apologize for not having the name of the collection. The little feathers are also heat embossed with Tempting Turquoise but, since there is no die for them, I paper snipped them. I so wish there was a die for them too.

The sentiment is from "My Art" from Hobby Lobby, the card stock is from my stash. I added a few sequences too, just for a little more festive look.

Seize the Birthday Mouse.....

Hello everyone: I hope your Holidays were grand, celebrating with dear family and friends, I wish for all of you Joy and Health in 2016!!!!!
I'm really looking forward to continue having fun with my blog and sharing my cards with all of you sweet friends, there are lots of things to learn and improve, I made a few New Year Resolutions and I plan to work hard to achieve them.
I have a card to share with you today for  the Seize the Birthday challenge blog, here is my card.

This image is from Wipper Snapper Designs and it's called Mouse and Candle and I think it's cute as can be. I stamped it onto a panel of Canson Canva water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in baby oil. I added a few sequences because, after all, it's a birthday card, right?

I used one of the many sentiments in SU Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, and punched it out with the retired SU Word Window punch, I just made it a little smaller.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy stamp set called Potted Primroses , the little candles are from a stash of dollar bin stamps from Hobby Lobby.
