Hen and Chicks.....

Hello everybody: Yesterday I made THIS card to participate in the Power Poppy April challenge You Pick Three , we are asked to pick only 3 markers and color our images with them, it was great to figure out what colors to pick, I had so much fun that I decided to give this challenge another try and, in the process I also decided to enter my card in the CASology challenge with a Cue Card word SPROUT and I think this image fits the theme.  Here is my card.

This image is from the Power Poppy stamp set called Sassy Succulents , I adore this little plants and this images are simply amazing.  I stamped this sweet Hen and Chicks onto Canson water color paper with my new favorite ink for Photopolymer stamps Versafine Onix Black ink and colored it with only 3 SU markers, Old Olive, Perfect Plum and Chocolate Chip, the words are stamped with Old Olive ink.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment and the "Chicks" are from the set and stamped with Old Olive ink.

Here are the banners that inspired my card.

Thank you for stopping by, until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

  1. Sprout. Now that would have stumped me! Good thinking Maria, these little succulents are known to sprout off a little baby you can propagate into a new plant! Another great use of three colors you nailed it! Congratulations!
