Loads of Love for The Paper Players.....

Hello everyone: Sunday is the day that The Paper Players have a new challenge and today's is Transportation. When I read this post, the Stampin Up! (sadly retired) Loads of Love immediately popped in my head. This is a fabulous and fun set that can be used for any time of the year.
So, as I settled into my craft room to see what I could come up with, I thought about making a simple little scene with this cute truck, which can be filled with any of the fabulous accessories the set comes with.
Well, somehow this project kind of took a life of it's own and, 4 hours later when I finally finished, this is what I came up with.
I just love all the accessories this sets has so I wanted to use all of them but, in the end, I created a fun little scene, where this sweet couple is moving somewhere, taking along their trio of furry friends and some of their belongings. Here is a close up of each section so you can see my fussy cutting and all the little details.
I have said in the past that I really don't like fussy cutting but I must confess that this time, I had a lot of fun. I couldn't believe I even stamped and cut out the cute couple and their doggies,
their comfy chairs, lamps and plants and some boxes with maybe some dishes, linens, books, pictures, etc. Just the bare necessities to move to their new home.
This bunch of boxes are actually Presents but I just colored them brown to resemble real boxes, the presents with bows were covered with tiny pieces of water color paper I colored with SU Crumb Cake marker and glued over the original image.
The background line of trees was stamped with SU Lovely as a Tree using SU Mossy Meadow ink pad then, I just brushed all the tree bases and grass with the aqua painter.
I sponged the sky with Tempting Turquoise, the fence done with a paper punch but it's so old I really can't remember where it came from.
The little birds are from another retired SU set "Up, Up & Away".
Here's The Paper Players logo that inspired this card. I hope you like this card. I used a whole lot of SU write markers to color all of this images but, you can choose what ever colors you'd like to use. My card base measures 9 1/8" x 3 3/4", I just cut it after I finished the main panel.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. Your comments are immensely appreciated and, if you have any questions about this card, please do not hesitate to ask me, I will be more than happy to answer it.
Have a fabulous day!!
Maria.

So much fun to see your scene, Maria! So clever and well executed, with all that fussy cutting!! I love this set too and have had fun creating with it over the years. Certainly a "keeper" stamp set and you've shown why.

Maria, I think this might be my favorite card of yours! I always loved this set - I sold it when it retired. Those dogs are just so adorable in the truck! It must have taken a long time to cut all those pieces! It was worth it - what a beautiful card!
