This challenge called for creating a Christmas card using water colors and I couldn't be happier. Water coloring is my favorite medium to color my images, using my SU markers and an aqua painter. This markers are just so perfect for this, they blend and shade your images beautifully.
This image is from Flourishes, a company that sadly closed it's doors a couple of years ago, but I'm fortunate enough to have a good stash of this beautiful images, and this one is no exception. The music sheet behind this flowers, the sprigs of pine and the bells look vintage to me, I added a piece of the brand new SU Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack , to keep that vintage feel of the design

I colored this image with my SU markers in Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard, So Saffron, River Rock, Old Olive and Garden Green. I added some Wink of Stella shimmer to the bells, I hope you can see it, sometimes it's difficult to photograph.

Oh Maria, this just takes my breath away! I adore Flourishes stamps, and I also have a stash of them. You did wonders with this. As always, your coloring is gorgeous, and the new SU Winter Wonderland vellum is perfect! WOW, just WOW! I can see why they chose yours as a winner! Congratulations! I wish I had enough courage to enter challenges...maybe some day. Now that I'm retired, maybe I can find the courage, and the time. :-)
