I did some masking on this image, the little Hedgehog is holding a bouquet of flowers but I wanted him to hold one of balloons so, with a bit of washi tape, I was able to stamp only this sweet critter and then, I added my balloons.
I stamped this image onto a panel of plain white card stock, (I ran out of Ninnah solar white) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with just 2 Prismacolor pencils, the strings on the balloons were done with SU markers.
I stamped the CELEBRATE sentiment from an old stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Tempting Turquoise embossing powder, the colors on this card are from the Color Q challenge #330 , I had to dig deep into my card stock scraps to find this colors to at least die cut my balloons, I wanted to use a panel of Poppy Parade for the layering but I didn't have enough.
Here is a picture of the finished inside.
I'm also linking this card to the CAS{E} this Sketch! challenge.
Here are the banners that inspired this card.
Thank you for stopping by, until next time, Happy Stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

A hedgehog! He's so cute! Look at that blushing face! Love how he's interested in the balloons as he's traveling away to too a party! Just adorable and I love this Sketch!
This a really cute card . The balloons are bright and cheery and that little critter looks like he is having a ball !!
Adorable card, Maria. Your hedgehog is so cute being carried away. Poppy Parade was one of my favorite colors...ever and I do not have one piece of scrap anymore. There is talk of an SU color refresh this year, perhaps it will come back!
This is so sweet! There's always something extra-adorable about hedgehogs!
Thanks for sharing your information on my blog. 3 Ironman competitions - WOW! My husband just competes locally doing up to the half marathons. He was excited last year as he turned 50 so went up an age category. He says he still wants to be competing at 90 - and I think he will be!!
Ah yes my friend, I love this little critters, the sketch was fun to play with.
Thank you Sonny, I was lucky I had some leftover card stock in this colors from a long time ago.
Thank you Rosanne, I also liked Poppy Parade, I hope they bring it back, it's really sad when they discontinue this fabulous color collections.
Thank you for stopping by Kate and good luck to your hubby in all of his races. Iron Man Triathlons are grueling events but the feeling of crossing the finish line is like no other and, if your family is there to cheer you on, it's even better.
Big Hugs.
Cuteness!
