Something Exotic is the theme.....

Hello everyone: I have a card to share with you that I will enter in several challenges listed at the end of this post, it took me a bit of time to get the coloring right, I actually had to rely on a Google picture of this magnificent flowers to pick and blend the colors. Hope you like it.

The theme over at "Less is More" is EXOTIC, when I read this word my mind immediately turn to this beautiful Orchid image from a retired Flourishes set called "Orchids".
I stamped it onto a die cut piece of Strathmore multi media water color paper with Versafine black ink and colored it with both SU markers and Prismacolor pencils. I didn't add anything to this image but I did heat embossed the word Orchids.

The lighting is not very good, it's a bit gray this morning and my lamp is horrible, (need to get me a good one) so I tilted the card a bit so the word can catch a bit of the light.
The die cut is from a Spellbinders set called Romantic Rectangles.
Here is a picture of the inside of my card.

The sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Lots of Thoughts".

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges.
"Less is More" Something Exotic.
Die Cut Divas August Vacations.
ATC Around the World Photo Inspiration, I used the colors.
A Bit More Time To Craft Anything Goes.

Thank you for stopping by, until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Thank you Esther, I was a bit hesitant about this card for the LIM challenge because of the colors, but it was fun to create it anyway.

Thank you Kathyk, I was looking for a smaller Orchid for the inside of my card but I chose the butterfly instead.
