Autumn Fairy.....

Hello everyone: A couple of years ago, more or less, my hubby's aunt gifted me with a collection of about 25 amazing Fairy rubber stamps she found at a thrift store, in a cardboard box, dirty, stained, abandoned, unloved. She knows how much I love stamping so she got the entire box for $10.00 and gave it to me. After cleaning this plain rubber images I started stamping them to see what they looked like and, to me total surprise, they were the most beautiful Fairy images I've ever seen.
I've made several cards with them, and this one is next, I will link this card to several challenges at the end of this post.

I stamped the image with Stazon Jet Black ink onto a piece of Canson water color paper and colored it with SU markers and the aqua painter. I added some sparkle to her wings and the leaves with SU Dazzling Diamonds embossing powder.  I love the Fall Season and this Fairy is the only one in the bunch that has an Autumn theme, she is beautiful, her little mousy friend is too.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment and the leaf are from a set by Our Daily Bread called "Autumn Blessings"

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges.

Creative Corner Challenges Theme "Fairy Tale"
Woopsy Daisy Challenge "Autumnal Colors"
Sparkle and Sprinkle Challenge Use Glitter, Embossing Powder and or Flocking.
Ellibelle's Creative Moments Feature a Critter or a Creature.

Thank you for stopping by, until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

What a stunning card, the colors are just beautiful! I love the fairy image, too. I think nearly all the fairies I've seen have been spring or summer themes but this one is as charming as she is lovely. Thanks for sharing with us this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

First of all, I love your blog name! I am a triathlete and paper crafter ... I like to view it as I am really active sometimes so that I can justify crafting other times! I also love these fairy stamps too - you lucked out! What a great find and gift :) Your card is sweet and I love the inside sentiment too. What a wonderful way to view fall and the falling leaves! Thank you for stopping by Chris, it's so rare to find a Triathlete and a card maker rolled into one.
I love the sport and I wish for you many, many years of fabulous races and paper crafting.
I was so lucky my hubby's aunt found this stamps, you should have seen the pitiful state they were in, but now, they are all clean and perfect and the images, as you can see, are beautiful.
Thank you for stopping by.
