Hello everyone: I know for a fact that, most of us up here in the Northern States are in the grip of Old Man Winter, who is blasting us with frigid temperatures, fierce winds and lots of snow.
It's inevitable to think about it, no matter how hard you try not to so, in an effort to maybe help you guys forget a bit about this very cold season, I have a card for you that will warm your heart in a few ways, heck!! I started dreaming of sun kissed beaches, warm sand, cold drinks and a tan, using a good amount of sun screen, of course😉
Ok, are you warm yet? Most of you know I adore the House Mouse Siblings, they are always doing something cute and/or outrageous, LOL!! I don't think many of you would like to find a little mousy taking a bath in your cold lemonade, would you?
I stamped this little guy with Stazon black ink onto a piece of smooth drawing paper from a big block my granddaughter gave me last week. I love how fabulous this paper is to color with Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in Gamsol.
The patter paper is from a discontinued line from Lili of the Valley, I love the bright and cheerful colors on this paper.
The sentiments are from a couple of Power Poppy sets, the top ones from Go Wild and the bottom one from Dynamic Duos:Peonies & Tulips

This is a picture of the finished inside of my card, I've been doing this every time I make a card, it saves me a lot of time when I mail them.
The sentiment is from another Power Poppy set called Short Stacks, the cute little kitty is from a Penny Black set called Critter Party, I colored it with Prismacolor pencils.
I would like to play along with the following challenges.

Love your warm and inviting card! I too live where it is cold (bitter) and snowy, so any sign of warmth is welcome. Love the mix of papers you chose for the background and the bright sunny colors too. Thanks for sharing your card with us at the final challenge of 2017 at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.
Hugs

I love the quilted background! Perfect for the country chic style!
We are in the middle of summer here, but I can certainly see how this card would spark a warm summery memory. Great colours too. So glad you joined us at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies, CarolG
What a bright and happy card this one is. It matches the sunshine outside where I am. Thanks for sharing with CHN patterned paper challenge.

Even in Florida we are freezing. Love this cute card. The mouse can always have a sip of my lemonade but not a dip in it unless I'm don't with it. Hah! Bring on the sunshine. Thank you for joining us at House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge. {Bunny} Designer for House Mouse and Friends

That was the perfect color scheme for the cold blast! I hear you on that :) And the inside is just as wonderful as the cute front. wow! Congrats on making Top 3 over at my heARTful stamping challenge this week.
I enjoy house mouse stamps too, but I don't think a mouse in a cold beverage is good for anyone, not even the mouse! It doesn't make qa darling card, though! We are happy to have you in our HeARTful Stamping Challenge!
