TWOFER CHALLENGE #5.....

Hello everyone: Well, I'm a bit late with my cards for the Twofer Challenge #5 so I'm precariously flying under the radar with these cards but, the weather is really awesome and we've been enjoying it, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, 😉 so here are my cards to participate in this awesome and super fun challenge.

And here are the individual cards.

This one has an image from House Mouse called "Hummingbird Feeder", I masked the Hummingbird to add the butterfly die cut from the Stampin' Up! set "Watercolor Wings", the pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley and the sentiment from Flourishes.

****************************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of the first card looks like.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called GO WILD and the fireworks from a stamp set by The Ton called PYROTECHNICS.

*********************************************************************

Here is my second card.

This card has an image from another House Mouse set called "Fall Commuters", I only wanted this particular image so I covered the entire stamp with lots of painters tape, carefully inked the mouse and a bit of the stem of the leaf, removed the tape and stamped it on my panel, it was awesome to see I got the image perfectly stamped on the first try. After this, I sponged the sky, the grass, stamped the little flowers and the sign, then, I created the butterfly with the small image from Watercolor Wings.

**************************************************************************

This is how the INSIDE of this card looks like.

The sentiment is from two old Flourishes sets.

I would like to play with the following challenges.

Art Journal Journey "Flora and Fauna"

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #194 "All Creatures Great and Small"

Pearly Sparkles Challenge #28 "Things with Wings"

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time,  happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

So very clever Maria, I have creative block totally. I have not been able to think of anything other than what I have seen already done. What a clever idea a butterfly kite. And such a pretty butterfly too. Two beautiful cards.

Both of your cards are so sweet, inside and out! Those little mice are just darling as they interact with their butterfly pals and I love how you changed up the stamps to fit your purpose! Your coloring is beautiful and each scene is so whimsical yet different. Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

There you go being all clever again! Two adorable cards and brilliant ideas! I love how you designed the layout on the first card. That's really cute, Maria! On your second card the little flowers scattered on the landscape and the sign post -- darling! Of course, the star of that card is the little mouse's wild ride. So kind of his butterfly friend to give him a lift. I'm glad you show the insides, too. All finished up and ready to go!

These are both so adorable, Maria ... such sweet and lovely scenes ... beautifully composed and executed! I especially love the idea of the little mouse having a ride by butterfly ... kind of like a hot air balloon but better!! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

These are both so adorable, Maria! I love the little scenes you have created by masking the artist's stamp to fit your own designs! The little mouse looks perfectly fitted to be feeding the butterfly as he does feeding the hummer! And, likewise, the wee lad looks right at home being uplifted by a beautiful butterfly as he does a leaf! Very clever of you to see a way to stretch both your stamps!! And excellent framing and stamping of sky and ground to create the rest of both scenes! The insides, too, are really lovely! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #5! Hugs, Darnell
