Let's Have Some S'more Fun............

SOS Headquarters

Hello everyone: The DT over at SHOPPING OUR STASH has a new challenge for you to play with and the theme is "The Great Outdoors", so dig up your Nature or Outdoorsy stamps and come and join my teammates and me in our gallery.
This is the card I made and, believe me, I'm longing for warm afternoons, sitting around the fire pit in our backyard, roasting (burning) hot dogs with the grandkids and, of course, making some S'mores.

These sweet images are from an old set (2013) called, what else? "S'more Fun".  I stamped the images on Strathmore Bristol paper with Versafine black ink and colored with Windsor&Newton watercolor markers, a set of 12 that my granddaughter Vanessa gave me last year, I love the intensity of the colors.
I did a bit of masking right there where the little yellow daisy is "behind" the S'more, the little birds and branches are from an Altenew set called "Birch Land" I sponged the edges with distress inks for the grass and sky, the pattern paper is from a retired line from Lili of the Valley, I've been hoarding this paper, I love it, most of all because it's ONE-SIDED.

**********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called "Sassy Succulents", (2014) and the little cluster of flowers from an old Flourishes set called "From the Garden" (2012).

I hope you come by the SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge blog and check out my teammates' beautiful creations, get inspired and play along with us in our gallery.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Anything Goes/Food or Drink.
Crafting Happiness Challenges

Hand Colored Images.

Anything Goes.
Gem of A Craft Challenge

Thank you for visiting me today.
Hugs.
Maria.

Cute ! All that detail makes this scene look like it is out of a book ! Caught that comment on the one sided paper ! Where have I heard that before ??? Giggle !

Fabulous card, love how everything is beautifully coloured. the colours just pop. I'm with you on single sided paper, double sided really bugs me that only one side can be used unless you make a box.

Beautiful papers and design. I love the way the image mat is larger than the card base. And your coloring is perfect. Thanks so much for playing with us this week at Crafting Happiness Challenges! Be sure to click LIKE on the entries you like - and yes, you can like more than one and your own as well. The entry with the most likes will be highlighted in next week's challenge post along with some other Top Picks. Feel free to link up as often as you want! Would love to see more of your creativity.

What a vibrant, delightfully lovely card. I'm a massive fan of s'mores, so couldn't help but beam as brightly as a campfire over this very sweet (in more ways than one!) make.

What a lovely outdoors card. I'm trying to remember what it's like having warm nice weather to want to be outside! Thank you for joining us at the Dream Valley challenge this time.
