A Little Reminder.....

Hello dear friends: All of us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE are so happy to see all of your beautiful cards in our gallery, thank you so much for helping us celebrate our First Birthday.  We are half way there so, my teammates and I have a bit more inspiration for you on the blog, please read the rules for this challenge carefully, there are some awesome prizes up for grabs so, good luck to all!!

Here is my card, hope to see you in the gallery.

For my reminder card, I chose another gorgeous image from Power Poppy by Marcella Hawley called DYNAMIC DUOS.  She is one of our fabulous sponsors and I'm ever so thankful she agreed to donate a $30.00 gift card to her on line store. 

I stamped this Tulips on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink and colored them with Sakura Koi watercolors, I added some highlights with Prismacolor pencils. I sponged a bit of Spiced Marmalade on the outline placing the die cut back on the die to get that pretty frame effect.

The Sentiment is from another Power Poppy set called Simply Camellias, I love the font.

The pattern paper is from The Paper Studio, the ribbon, from my stash.

I placed a few Nuvo Drops around just because I love the way they look.

Here is a picture of the finish inside of my card.  Sometimes some of you think it's another card but it's really the inside. I decided in January of this year to finish the insides of every card I make, it saves me a ton of time when I need to mail them.

Sentiment is from the Dynamic Duos set, the little Tulips from a retired Flourishes set called "From the Garden", I colored this image with Prismacolor pencils.

You Are The Bomb!!!!!

Hello everyone: I made this card yesterday but, as it's usually the case, LIFE got in the way and I couldn't take pictures or write the post until this morning so, here  it is, hope you like it.

I will link this card to a few challenges at the end of this post.

This beautiful image is from the Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos:Peonies and Tulips.

I stamped with Stazon black ink on Strathmore water color paper and colored it with SU markers,  an aqua painter and Prismacolors for added shadows.

The black die cut is from Spellbinders, pattern paper from my stash.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

I don't have a smaller image of a Peony for the inside so I just stamped the same image but with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, the sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends"

I would like to enter this card onto the following challenges.

The Sisterhood of Crafters "Where in the World?" I live in Indiana and the State Flower is the Peony.

Peonies are also called "Bombs" hence the sentiment.
