Fabulous "Impossible Box".

 Hello everyone: As always, I hope you and your families are doing well, staying healthy and safe.

The RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE has a very popular and fun theme for you to play with, we hope to see you in our gallery.  Remember that the stamps you use must be at least one year old, Ok?

When we have this theme at RETRO RUBBER I like to make something other than a card and I usually CASE one of the awesome boxes Julie DiMatteo shares with us on her blog called The Paper Pixie, the directions on her video are so perfect and this box was so much fun to make that I just got carried away and made two.

I also made a card using the same stamp set I used to create the background but with different colors and, I used the flower stamps to create the bouquet.  This set is still available in the 2022-2023 Anual Catalog.

Stampin' Up! "Artistically Inked" was introduced a year ago, May 3rd. 2021. I used it to create my own "DSP" for the gray box and for my card.

The sentiment on the inside is from Flourishes "Short Stacks" (2015)

The sentiment on the gray box is from SU "Whimsical Words" (Sale-a-bration 2010)

The sentiment on the blue box is from SU "Touch of Kindness" (2011 Summer Mini)

The blue DSP is from Hobby Lobby.

I hope you give this box a try, you just have to pay attention to the scoring and cutting, believe me, once you make one, the second, third, etc. will be a piece of cake.

Anything Goes for Retro Rubber.

The RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE for the next 10 days is one of the most popular ones, "Anything Goes", so you have free range on what you create, keeping in mind that you need to use stamps that are older than one year.

This is what I created.

This is how the boxes look when you open them.

I made these boxes following this video for the big box and this video for the little box, both created by The Paper Pixie.

These boxes might look a little complicated but believe me, they are super easy to create because Julie has the amazing ability to explain everything as she is making these boxes so her directions on the video are a breeze to follow.

I hope you give them a try, you'll get addicted.
