Mice Love for Merry Monday #167.....

Hello everyone: I'm back with another card for you, this time for the Merry Monday  challenge with a theme of Hearts, Bonnie Klass  is our host,  your card has to contain a heart somewhere in the design.  This is the card I made with this adorable image from House Mouse.
I just love this little mice, no matter what they are doing, they always look so sweet and adorable.  This is a quick and easy image to color, as you can see, I only used 3 markers and a bit of sponging, for the "glare" on the candy canes I used my white Prismacolor pencil, for their rosy cheeks, I used the lighter pink.
The green panel was cut as a square and punched with a super old SU corner punch, I love the fact that the punched out corners also have teeny, tiny hearts in them, and by the way, I always save those hearts, they are just perfect, I used them to make THIS  card, can you see the sweet little hearts?
The candy cane DSP (one sided) is so old that I really don't remember where I got it, maybe at Hobby Lobby, but it's just perfect for my card, don't you think?
Here is a close up of this cutie pies.
A little bling on the corners of the green panel with SU Rhine Stones finishes this card nicely.
I die cut the image with SB circle dies and I snipped their little tails before I put the image on the die, that curly tail was hard to snip but it's so worth it.
Here is the banner that inspired this card.
I hope you like this card, please leave me a comment, you know how much I love reading them. If you have a question, I'm here to answer it.
Till next time, hugs and keep on stamping.

Maria.

Maria...this card is adorable. You have inspired me to play with my HM stamps. I, too, have that ancient candy cane DSP. It works perfectly with this card.

What an adorable card! I love candy canes so much - they have a special place in my heart because my husband is red-green color blind and I like to tease him a little, lol. Sweet sweet card!
