Simple and sweet image, Strawberries are my most favorite fruit and right now they are in season so we are eating them almost every day. I colored the image with my SU markers, I know I've said this before but, they are really great for water coloring, they blend just great. The background is stamped with the Hardwood background stamp onto Pistachio Pudding CS with Wild Wasabi ink, the butterfly is from a very old stamp and die set, can't really remember from where, I apologize for that. The twine for the tag and the bow is from the tag that came on a pair of jeans I bought some time ago, I thought it was just so beautiful, I was not about to throw it out.
Here is a close up of this luscious fruits, I hope you can see the little shimmer of my Wink of Stella glitter brush.
I also gave the image a little bit of shadow all around it, I didn't like how it look just flat on the paper.
So I hope you like my card, I'm enjoying coloring this fabulous images so much.

I see the shadow and it's a very professional touch to your coloring! I love the re purposed tag you saved what a pretty card!
Hi Maria! Beautiful as usual! I have a question for you. Do you color the markets directly onto the cardstock and them blend them with aqua painters? How do you always make such beautifully water colored images?
Hello Kelly, I'm so happy you stopped by. To answer your question, yes, I apply the marker right to the edge of the image and then blend with the aqua painter, which is just damp, not dripping wet, I blend in a circular motion going away from the edge. If I need a bit more color or shadow, I wait a bit till it's dry and then, I add the ink a little bit at the time.
I'm so happy you like this card. Thank you for visiting.

Thank you Susan, the twine is really pretty, I still have a bit more of it. As soon as I grabbed those jeans, the twine caught my eye and I started thinking of how to use it.
