As you can clearly see, there is just a little stamped sentiment down in the corner but not a drop of water or ink anywhere else. The butterfly die is a very, very old one from Marianne Designs I bought at Hobby Lobby possibly 4 years ago, so I really don't know if it still available. Now, I punched the frame where the butterfly is sitting with the retired SU Dotted Scalloped Ribbon edge punch, to make this cool frame, I saw THIS video and I just loved it, it's super simple to do. Here is a close up.
You just cut a piece of 3"x3" card stock and center it, then punch all four sides. I made a mark on my punch with a marker on both sides of the punch, just to be more accurate.
I know this is a retired punch and some of you might not have it but I just wanted to tell you how I did it. The video also shows other ways to use this punch.
Ok my friends, this is all for now, I hope you like my card today, please let me know in your comments, I read all of them, if you have a question, just let me know, I will answer you right away.

Beautiful! What a great use of that punch - and your butterfly is beautifully vibrant!
Thank you Brian, this punch is one of my absolute favorites, I love that you can use it in so many different ways. I've even cross stitched with it, really pretty.
I love the frame and the texture on the butterfly!
Thank you Mary, I haven't use this punch to make a frame in a while but I did remember the CS has to be 3"x3".
That a great sketch I should try to play along! Thought that may be a SU! Butterfly die it looks similar! By the way I can hear your water brush crying across the miles it's really miffed you've over looked water coloring today!
Wow! It does look like the SU butterfly . Pretty card and it has a fresh look to it . I have that border punch and love it . I do not know why they retired it . This is a great sketch also . A keeper !
Patti, it's indeed a great and easy sketch, I hope you play along. My Aqua Painters and SU markers were very ticked off today but, I just wanted to try something a little different.
Hey Sonny, I hope you can see that video I linked up, this girl shows a lot of ways to use that punch, this is just one of my favorites, I also like I can use embroidery floss and cross stitch those little holes.
I love that butterfly , Maria ! I have never made it in blue - nice effect , I need to try it . Stepping out of comfort zones , that is hard . You did a great job :). Hugs , Anita
