Happiness is Homemade!!!!!

Hello everyone: One of the many things I remember about my maternal grandma is her amazing breads, cakes and cookies, our house was always smelling delicious and all of us enjoyed her fresh baked goodies. I learned a lot from her and now, I'm grateful I can pamper my own grandkids with the same delicious treats as my grandma did for me.
I have a card to share with you today with a baking theme, I will link it up to several challenges at the end of this post. Here is my card.

This image is from a retired Flourishes set called Fresh Baked and it has the cutest little images of homemade goodies. I stamped this apron onto a piece of Lili of the Valley pattern paper then, colored the string and sash with Pretty in Pink marker, the wooden spoon and the recipe on the pocket were stamped onto a piece of Strathmore multi media water color paper with Versafina Onix Black ink, I prefer this paper when I'm going to fussy cut my images, it's thinner than the 140lb. I normally use. I colored it and the little wooden spoon with SU markers. The pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley the ribbon, from my stash.
Here is a close up of this cute little apron.

It's just so pretty, you could get really inspired to make something delicious wearing it.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

Both images and sentiment are from the same set.

I would like to enter this card onto the following challenges.

Crafting When We Can Challenge #126 "Show us your dies and punches", I die cut the panel behind the apron, with Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8.

Thank you for stopping by, until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Your grandma sounds much like mine! Her reputation for baking was known all over the area where she lived, and as a result, she sure had a lot of people "just stopping by" for a visit...and a cupcake, or cookie, or brownie, or marshmallow square *grin* Your card! fantastic! Love that apron! The sweet outside of your card is matched with a charming sweet inside! Thank you for sharing your creativity at Cupcake Inspirations!

So sorry about that Patti, I don't know why you are not getting the notes for this post.
But I'm glad you stopped by anyway my friend, thank you.

Thank you Carol, Grandmothers are so important in grandchildren's lives, we love and spoil (in the best of ways) our grandkids and they know it, LOL!!
I saw a quote on a magazine one day that said: "If mom says NO, call 1-800-GRANDMA", so true.
