This image is from a retired Flourishes set called "Stitched for You", stamped onto Canson water color paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and colored with SU markers and the aqua painter, the pattern paper is from a retired line from Lili of the Valley and the button was die cut, the button brads are from my stash. I love this sweet sewing basket with all you need to embroider or quilt.
Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.
The sentiment is from a Power Poppy by Marcella Hawlley set called Olive and Oak.
Here are the banners that inspired my card.
Thank you for stopping by, until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

Patti, this set was on my very long wish list when Flourishes closed it's on line store, I just didn't have time to get it but luckily I was able to buy it years later from one of the ladies who was on the DT, I was thrilled because this images are just so beautiful.
Thank you for stopping by, my friend.

Gorgeous basket of sewing goodies and i love this interpretation of stitching. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
Perfection! You know the right places and angles to apply your colors. Wish you could teach me the art of coloring and shading. Never come close to your talent.
Thank you Jane, I don't have any of those gorgeous stitching dies, I need to get me some sets ASAP!! but I do love this images on the set, which is all about all kinds of stitching.
Thank you Lisa, the shading is really easy to do, most stamps come already with a shaded area, you just have to apply more color there and fade it outwards. I love the look of going first with water coloring and then, adding highlights and shading with my Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps lightly dipped in baby oil, this really works so nicely.
My goodness. Such a delightful box of sewing goodies!
