I stamped the image onto a piece of light brown card stock and fussy cut it after I heat embossed it. The die cut corners on this panel are done with Tim Holtz die set called "Mixed Media Dies".
I used the retired SU stamp called "En Francais" for the background, stamped with Versamark ink, heat emboss it and sponged lightly with Baked Brown Sugar. The word die is from Elizabeth Crafts.

Thank you Leslie, this butterfly image was a bargain indeed and I think it was made for heat embossing, I want to try it with water colors.
I started browsing your blog and this card immediately caught my attention. The butterfly really is eye catching, the embossed pattern is almost the same as the base color and it gives your butterfly a very beautiful textured look. And the simple background with cut outs suits so well, it doesn't take away the focus of the butterfly but it still adds interest to this clean design. Great job!
