Two Ears.....No Waiting.....

Hello dear stamping friends: I have a card to share with you made with one of the cutest telephone image ever, I love this type of phones, I think they are so romantic and so stylish, no apps on these phones, that's for sure, this particular phone was one of those where you have to ask the operator to connect you with whom ever you were calling, more personal, I think.

This image is from a retired Flourishes set called "Call Me", I've had this set for years, perhaps since it came out back in 2012-2013, the other images are just as beautiful.
I stamped this one with Stazon black ink on watercolor paper and colored with a SU marker in Pink Pirouette and shaded the images with Prismacolor pencils. I added gold gel pen to parts of the phone to give it a rich look. The sentiment is from the set and the Rhine Stone from my stash. I don't know why it looks purple, I took several pictures with the same result, but I can assure you, IT'S PINK!!!
The pattern paper is from a retired line from Lili of the Valley, the ribbon and doily from my stash.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The lacy border is from a SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Sassy Succulents, the flower in the corner from a retired Flourishes set called "Sweet Violets".

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

The Paper Players Color Challenge from Joanne.

No automatic alt text available.

Aurora Wings Challenge #64 "BINGO" I used the first vertical line, "Lace or Doily, Flowers and Ribbon"

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

I've always thought this was the cutest set and I'm so happy to see it again! These phones were before my time, but I've seen reproductions like this. How fun it would be to have one as pretty as this with the pink and gold. What a beautiful job you did with the coloring!

What a fun little image and so sweet and dear stamped and colored in PINK!!! Love it! Yes, it was more personal, but I think some of those operators shared a few of those choice personal tidbits, LOL!!! How times have changed!!
