CAS Sweet Peas.....

Hello everyone: There was a time when CAS cards were not on my list to create.  I like layering and a little bit of embellishing but, somehow, CAS cards have grown on me so, here's this one that I will enter into a few challenges.

This image is from a super old Flourishes stamp set called "Sweet Peas",  I stamped it on a folded piece of white cardstock with Stazon black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, the sentiment is from another Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends" and it's heat embossed in gold.
It's hard to see in this picture so I took a few more and this one is the best I could get.

And this is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I think this sentiment is from Penny Black but I'm not sure, I have no packaging for it.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

  5. Oh, Maria, CAS has grown on me, too, and this is just lovely! A splash of color on white with the gold sentiment and the butterfly as though it's lifted away and heading off to the next flower -- beautiful! It's so nice that pencils can be used on one layer cards, and you do such a stellar job with them. I can't settle on any single style, but glad we don't have to, right? Love it all!
