Flowers Feed the Soul.

Hello everyone: Every time I post on my little blog I say to all of you who come here that I pray and hope you and your families are doing well in these difficult times. Unfortunately, we as a Country are not doing well at all, the Pandemic and the civil unrest are getting worse, our leaders are NOT leading and that is a FACT!!!!! That's all I can say about that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm sharing this card with you and a few challenges.
These images are from 2 Flourishes sets, the garden hat and rack are from "Friendly Reminders" (2010) all the rest are from "From the Garden" (2010)
The brick wall was added after I had already stamped the table and hat with a Tim Holtz embossing folder but I didn't run it through the Big Shot, all I did was to sponge the ink on it, placed my panel on top and just rub the parts that didn't have the images, it worked perfectly. The little bird was stamped on the table, the rest of the images were stamped, colored with Prismacolor pencils and a few watercolors then, fussy cut.
The sentiment is from the set.
This is the INSIDE of the card.
The garland of roses is from a new Stampin' Up set called "Grace's Garden", which is so beautiful, I just got it, love it!!, the rest of the images are from the Flourishes set.
I want to play with the following challenges.
RHS Miniature Garden Grower By Holly Farrell
"In the Garden"
Penny Black and More
I'm going with "Create a Scene"
Thank you for stopping by.
Stay healthy and safe.
Fresh Baked.....
Hello everyone: We have a new challenge over at SHOPPING OUR STASH for you to play with, this time we want to see some good old fashioned FUSSY CUTTING, no die cutting OK? just grab your scissors and snip, snip, snip something, create a card and play along.  Here is my card, I hope it will inspire you to join my teammates and me in the gallery. (Maybe you'll also feel the urge to bake some cookies,😉)
This cute little apron image is from my retired stash of Flourishes stamp sets, this particular set is called "Fresh Baked", all images are from the very talented Marcella Hawley) the spoon and cookies are from this set too.  I stamped the apron 3 times, once on a piece of Lili of the Valley pattern paper because I wanted the little yellow flowers on it, then, I stamped the ruffle and the little recipe and wood spoon sticking out of the little pocket on to some scrap water color paper, colored it and fussy cut them, I made a cut right on the top of that apron pocket to stick the recipe to make it look like it's actually sticking out of it, then I put some dimensional foam under the skirt of the apron after I did a bit of shading with Prismacolor pencils, and attached it to the ruffle, then I put a few more foam dimensionals behind the apron and attached it to a panel of cream card stock that I sponged with a bit of Hello Honey ink, the spoon and cookies were also colored and fussy cut and attached with foam.
Here are some close ups of this images.
And here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.
The sentiment is from the set.
I didn't use one single die to create this card, just my paper cutter to cut the panels.
I hope you find some time to play along with us over at SHOPPING OUR STASH, for more inspiration please visit the challenge blog and check out my teammates awesome creations.
Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.
