One Of My Favorite Bugs!!!!!

 Hello everyone: I hope all of you and your families are doing well, keeping each other safe and healthy.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My teammates and I over at shopping our stash have a new theme for you to play with and it's all about bugs!!

My favorite bug is the spider, I have a lot of respect and admiration for this critters and, even if I don't want them inside my house, I never kill them, I trap them with a glass and a piece of cardstock and take them outside to my flower pots, I figure they will have a better chance to find food out there than in here.

Anywho, here is my card and believe me, I used every single spider stamp I own, this was so much fun and, since spiders seem to be associated with Halloween, I made this card using this cute little mummy, who is not to thrilled about all of these spiders showing up at the same time, I hope he's going to get a glass and some cardstock to trap them and take them outside, Lol!!

This is the inside.

This is what I used.

The mummy is from Stampabilities (2006, discontinued)

spiders:

Stampin' Up! "Best friends" (2006, retired)

Stampin' Up! "Dark and dreary" (2010, retired)

Stampin' up! "bite me" (2013, retired)

 my teammates and I hope you go look for your bug stamps, we're sure you have some, and come and play along with us in our gallery, we can't wait to see what you create.

Thank you for visiting me today.

stay healthy and safe.

Bewitching.

Hello everyone: I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping each other safe and still wearing your masks.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to another fun and fabulous 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE, we hope you come and play with us, here's the mood board to give you some inspiration but also, you can hop over our challenge blog page and check out my teammates' awesome creations.
This is the card I made, isn't this gal just gorgeous? I wonder what she's cooking.
I hunted these images after seeing a card on Pinterest that made me fall in love with this Witch back in October of 2017. I found that the Witch and the Cauldron are from a company called "Mostly Animals", which went out of business in 2005.  The spider is from a 2006 Stampin' Up! set called "Best Friends" I also found on eBay. By the way, this set has 4 other amazing images plus 2 sentiments.
This is the INSIDE.
And this is what I used.
The spider is from a 2006 SU set called "Best friends"
The Witch and Cauldron are from "Mostly Animals" (discontinued)
I used one of the dies on the 2018 SU set called "Cauldron Bubble"
to stamp the sentiment in front and the broom for the inside.
The sentiment inside (very fitting for this card, LOL!!) is from a
2012 Flourishes set called "Fresh Baked"
The spider inside is from a 2010 SU set called "Dark and Dreary"
Prismacolor pencils.
I don't know about you but I'm having a blast creating Halloween cards, I have a fabulous stash of fantastic images, from cute to down right scary, but all super fun, I'm so happy to be able to share them with you in an attempt to inspire you to dig out your fun Halloween images and play along, it's sad that all of these stamps are put away for 11 months of the year and only see the light when Halloween is approaching.  Find the kid in you and come and play with us.
Thank you for stopping by.
Stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.
Beautifully Creepy.
 Hello everyone: I might sound like a broken record but I wish, from the bottom of my heart, that you and your families are healthy and safe in these difficult times we are living. Take care of yourselves and each other.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays, I just love making spooky cards with really spooky critters, LOL!! I still send Halloween cards to my grown-up grandchildren who are 22, 19, 17, 16 and 13.

I don't know about you but I love spiders, I think they are marvelous little critters, very beneficial and quite cute. I want to clarify that I don't go around cuddling with them, petting them or anything like that, but you won't ever see me squashing one.  When I'm doing some chores or if I see one on a corner, I always have a small plastic glass and a piece of card stock handy so I can catch the little critter and throw it outside, I firmly believe there's more food for them to catch in my flower beds than inside my house.

This adorable little spider is from a super old, 2006 to be precise, Stampin' Up! set called "Best Friends" which I found on eBay after seeing a card made with one of the other images from this set on Pinterest.
I stamped the spider on plain white card stock with Memento black ink, I die cut the branch with a Memory Box die called "Grove Branch", the pattern papers and ribbons are from my stash, the stamped spiders are from a SU set called "Dark and Dreary" (2010 Holiday Mini) and the sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie, I forget the name of the stamp set, it's also pretty old.

*******************************************************
This is the INSIDE of the card.

The sentiment is I think, from Inkadinkado, the spider web is from another old SU set called "Bite Me" (2013)

I want to play with the following challenges.

October Challenge "Spiders"

Spooky and/or Cute.
My little spider is both😉

Thank you for visiting me today.
Stay healthy, safe and please wear your masks.

One More For My Halloween Stash!!!!!

Hi there everyone: Well, I don't know about you but, I like to have a good stash of Holiday cards ready for when the Season arrives, I've been making a good amount of Christmas cards but I don't have many for Halloween and Thanksgiving so, here is my first Halloween card of the year.  I'm linking it to a few challenges at the end of this post.

This is a really beautiful image from a Power Poppy set called Feeling Fall and, even though I think the intention of this image is for a Fall card, I made it Halloween by adding the scary spider from the retired Stampin' Up! set called "Dark and Dreary".  I often combine stamp sets, old and new, to create the scene I want, in this case, that spider did the trick.
The images are stamped onto a die cut panel of water color paper with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed, then colored with some of my Sakura Koi water colors.  The sentiment is from the set and the pattern paper from my stash.

Here is a picture of the finish inside of my card.

This images are from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Bite Me!", love it!!!

I'm linking this card onto the following challenges.

heARTful Stamping Challenge "Anything Goes+a Stamp"
2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge #3 "Anything Goes with a Critter"

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.
