Polar Bear Twofers.....

Hello everyone: I've been rather busy this past week with some family stuff but all that is sorted out now so here I am, back in my craft room with a couple of cute cards to enter in the Twofer Card Challenge #15, the theme this time is really fun, "Zoo Animals" so, here are my cards, hope you like them.

Now, here's card #1.

This sweet image is from Lili of the Valley and I think it's called "Snow Buddies".  I stamped it on a piece of white card stock with gray Stazon Ink and lightly colored with Prismacolor pencils. I added some Diamond Dust for snow.
the pattern paper is from my stash and the sentiment is from a SU set called "Spirited Snowmen", so cute.
*****************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of this card looks like.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Poinsettia and the little candle from another Power Poppy set called Merry Littles.
*****************************************************
Here's my Twofer card.

I used the same little Polar Bear image but I masked the little Penguin and Christmas Tree and, after stamping the image on the right, I used the MIRROR IMAGE TECHNIQUE to stamp the other one on the left.
I added a panel of starry sky pattern paper, a few Rhine Stones for stars and a sentiment from a Power Poppy set called Sassy Succulents, the hearts are from my little stash of leftovers. I also colored the little Polar Bears with my Prismacolor pencils.
**********************************************************
This is how the inside of my Twofer card looks like.

The little snowflakes are from an old Flourishes set and the sentiment from the same Power Poppy set "Sassy Succulents".

So there you have it, my Twofer cards, I hope you like them.

I'm entering these cards on the following challenges.

Anything Goes/optional twist "make us smile"
I hope my little Polar Bears put a smile on your faces.

That is the most precious giant polar bear, Maria! He is so sweet helping the penguin place the star on the tree on your Christmas card and kissing his friend on your friendship card! I love the Christmas plaid and schparkle on your Christmas card! And well done making a perfect mirror image and starry sky for your second design! As always, your insides are as fabulous as your outsides!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #15! Hugs, Darnell

This is the sweetest bear stamp, Maria! I love how the bear is helping the penguin decorate the Christmas tree! And you've done an awesome job of masking and doing a mirror image for your sweet kissing bears! Awesome!

Both cards are adorable ,but your Mirror technique is a winner .
Those bears are too cute ! Now I think that other card is so festive with that sparkly snow and who doesn`t love penguins?

That's probably the best mirror image I've seen. What a cute pair of cards, Maria! Two wintry scenes, but for two different occasions, and they're both so sweet. One step closer to getting your Christmas cards done, too. Love the plaid and the sparkly snow on that one. You aced the challenge, and quickly! You know I always love seeing you in our Twofer gallery!

Oh Maria, these polar bears, and that little penguin are just adorable!! Your first card looks amazing with the glittery snow, and the penguin finishing off the Christmas tree with a star. The patterned paper is just right for this, too. And a mirrored image...I've been wanting to try this, but knowing me, it would end up a sloppy inky mess, lol!! Yours looks amazing!! That sky you've created is wonderful, and I love the little heart above the two bears. Great cards! Thanks for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev

Two fantastic ways of using that polar bear image. Beautiful Christmas one and then you were so clever to make it a card of love too. Perfect for an anniversary or a valentine.
