Hello everyone: I had the awesome surprise of being picked as a lucky winner of the "Less is More" challenge #394 "Buds and Petals" with THIS CARD, so the fabulous ladies of the Designer Team asked me to be their Guest Designer for Challenge # 398, One Layer Card, "SPOTS".
So I'm thrilled to share with you this card I made for this challenge, I hope it inspires you to come and play along.
This image is from Stamping Bella and it's called Audrey Loves Makeup, doesn't she looks so elegant?
I stamped the image on a folded piece of watercolor paper with Stazon black ink and colored her dress, hat and purse with a bit of Picked Raspberry distress ink, then I grabbed THIS FALLING SNOW STENCIL and carefully looked for a section where I can cover the dress, purse and hat and, with a sponge dauber, I went over that very lightly with the distress ink.
I used Prismacolor pencils to add color to her sweet face, arms, legs and hat, I applied a gold gel pen to the details on her purse, her necklace and tiny lipstick, I also added an earring, just to complete her jewelry, I sure hope you can see it.
The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Sassy Succulents, the spots are from a retired Stampin' Up! set called Gorgeous Grunge.
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.
The sentiment is from the Stamping Bella set, the spots from the Gorgeous Grunge set.
I hope you get inspired to come and play along at the "Less is More" challenge, you might be their next Guest Designer.
I'm playing along with the following challenges.
Challenge #388 "Strips and/or dots"
Thank you for stopping by, your comments always make my day.
Hugs.

Congrats on your win at Less is More, that card definitely deserves the winning spot, it is spectacular, as is this card. I love how you have coloured that very elegant lady. Don't we all wish we looked like that? Such a clever use of a stencil, however did you keep it within the confines of the tiny spaces? Very skilled masking I suppose, I love the little gold touches too xx
Such a cute card . Just look at all the special touches you added !
Yay for you on your win ! A true recognition of your talents !!
Congrats on your win! Woot! Love Audrey here she’s so elegant!

Maria, you have been the perfect guest designer! Your card is full of class, elegance and sophistication. You have been very clever in how you added the spots to the dress and your pencil colouring is beautiful. It has been a pleasure to have you as our guest designer, thank you xx
Wow! She looks just like Audrey Hepburn, doesn't she? I love the gloves. Well, I love everything about this. Awesome the way you stenciled her dress for a soft, random pattern. The touches of gold are perfect, just as this card is perfect for showing how less really IS more! Congrats on your guest spot, Maria. The card you earned it with is one of my all time favorites!
