More Christmas in July.....

Shopping Our Stash Weekly Challenge Blog

Hello everyone: The SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge is celebrating their 400th. post!!! WOW!! that is indeed an awesome milestone. The theme for this hot, hot July (well, at least where I am) is CHRISTMAS IN JULY so get your Holiday stamp sets and help us celebrate, and join my teammates and me in our gallery.

This image is from a Power Poppy set called Cozy Cupfuls which was released back in 2015, love this beautifully wrapped gifts and I can almost smell the hot chocolate and little marshmallows in that cute mug.
I stamped the image on Ninah 80lb. card stock with Stazon black ink before I embossed the panel then colored it with Prismacolor pencils, I added a bit of gold ink to the bow and some Rhine Stones for a little bling.

*********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I stamped the border with the Bordering Blooms stamp set (SU), the sentiment and the corner image are from a retired SU set called "Father Christmas"

I hope you feel inspired to come and join us at the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery with your Christmas in July creations, we can't wait to see them.
Stop by the blog to check out my teammates' cards for more inspiration, visit their blogs and leave them some sweet comment love.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Hi, Maria! We just got home last night after a week away and now the catch up begins! You have a lot to look at today and I'm loving it all! You know how I love this set, and the way you colored it is delightful! That bow is WOW, and the border makes the stamp so festive. Gorgeous border and sentiment inside, too. One more card ahead for Christmas! It was super hot a couple of days where we were camped, but mostly rather comfortable for high desert country. 70s and 80s. Not bad!
