Welcome to the new RETRO RUBBER challenge, this one is a very popular one, basically, you can do ANYTHING as long as you use at least one stamp that is OLDER THAN ONE YEAR, easy peasy, double cheesy, right?
Here's my card to inspire you to come and play along.
This is the card closed.
This is the card closed.
I took a little break from blogging, I've been in a kind of slump, with all the stuff going around it's been difficult to convince my MOJO to come back. But now, I'm here again doing one of the things I love the best so I figure I might as well be adventurous and do something I've never done, and that is to try this new (to me) fun fold video I saw on Utube by DAWN STAMPING THOUGHTS, I hope you give it a try, there are many videos but I really like hers.
******************************************************
This is how the card looks when you open it.
I really like how it turned out, I propped it against the window in front of my work desk that overlooks hole #5 on the golf course, we had to install that mesh you see behind my card, which I hate because it obstructs the pretty view but the "golfers" kept braking our windows, we had to replace that particular window twice.
But I digress.....
Here's a list of what I used to create this card.
All the images were stamped on watercolor paper with Stazon black ink and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.
For the front of the card.
Stampin' Up! "Pretty Pines" thinlitz (retired)
Stampin' Up! "Poppy Moments" die set.
The pattern paper is from my stash.
The sentiment is called "May the Bounty", from Hero Arts.
The inside.
First image: 1998 Stampin' Up! "Feathered Hope" (retired)
Second Image: 2011 Flourishes "A Season of Thanks".
Third Image: 2010 Flourishes "Apple of My Eye".
Fourth Image: 2011 Flourishes "A Season of Thanks".
Sentiment on the bottom: 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini.

This is ADORABLE ! I love it ! You really took on a task considering you say your MOJO was low ! I see you posted it at 4:30 AM ! I was up then too ,but not making anything quite as pretty !!
Gee! I thought it was stunning even before you revealed the insert panels Wow! I would say your creative slump must be past you know congratulations!
Holy moly, Maria! That's a heck of a line up of gorgeous stamps and a lot of fabulous coloring! I've made accordion cards before, but not like this particular fold and never with that much coloring. I'm totally impressed! I'd say your mojo has returned and I couldn't be happier. That's a choice property overlooking the golf course. I always wondered how people weren't always getting their windows broken, but now I know the truth.
Great card, thanks for sharing your creation with us at Crafty Friends, we hope to see you back again.
A beautiful card....thanks for going out of your comfort zone and making it because it inspired me to try this fun fold too! Great inspiration! So glad you shared this with us at PIP Challenges!
WOAH!! I love fancy folds, but truth be told I just don't have the patience for them. I love this and your colouring as always Maria is perfection. Cx
